The king said to Hazael,“ Take a present in your hand, and go, meet the man of God, and inquire of Yahweh by him, saying,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

王就吩咐哈薛说：“你带着礼物去见神人，托他求问耶和华，我这病能好不能好？”

王就吩咐哈薛說：「你帶着禮物去見神人，託他求問耶和華，我這病能好不能好？」

王就對哈薛說：『你手裏帶着禮物去會見神人，託他尋問永恆主說：『我患這病、活得了、活不了？』

王命哈薛曰、爾攜禮物、往迎上帝僕、託之詢於耶和華、我病得愈否、

王諭哈泄曰、爾攜禮物、往見上帝之僕、請彼問耶和華我疾得愈否。

he said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go to meet the man of God. Consult the Lord through him; ask him,‘ Will I recover from this illness?’”

Then the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you. Go and see the man of God. Ask him for the Lord’ s advice. Ask him whether I will get well again.”

And the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift in your hand and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord by him, saying,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’ ”

And the king said to Hazael,“ Take a present in your hand, and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord by him, saying,‘ shall I recover from this disease?’”

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thy hand, and go, meet the man of God, and inquire of Jehovah by him, saying, Shall I recover of this sickness?

So the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go meet the man of God. Inquire of the Lord through him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

So the king told Hazael,“ Take a gift and go visit the prophet. Request from him an oracle from the LORD. Ask him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

Ahaziah fell down through the lattice in his upper room that was in Samaria, and was sick. So he sent messengers, and said to them,“ Go, inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover of this sickness.”

Yahweh said to him,“ Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.

Then Saul said to his servant,“ But, behold, if we go, what should we bring the man? For the bread is spent in our sacks, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”

He who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

The king of Syria said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” He departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

But Jehoshaphat said,“ Isn’t there a prophet of Yahweh here, that we may inquire of Yahweh by him?” One of the king of Israel’s servants answered,“ Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah, is here.”Jehoshaphat said,“ Yahweh’s word is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father, and to the prophets of your mother.” The king of Israel said to him,“ No, for Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.”

They said to him,“ A man came up to meet us, and said to us,‘ Go, return to the king who sent you, and tell him,“ Yahweh says,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel, that you send to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”’”

One said to him,“ Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,

brought them out, and said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became sick.Jeroboam said to his wife,“ Please get up and disguise yourself, so that you won’t be recognized as Jeroboam’s wife. Go to Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who said that I would be king over this people.Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to Ahijah’s house. Now Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.
