Elisha went to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad king of Aram was ill. When the king was told,“ The man of God has come all the way up here,”

Elisha went to Damascus. Ben- Hadad was sick. He was king of Aram. The king was told,“ The man of God has come all the way up here.”

Now Elisha came to Damascus. Ben-hadad the king of Syria was sick. And when it was told him,“ The man of God has come here,”

Elisha went to Damascus, the capital of Aram, where King Ben hadad lay sick. When someone told the king that the man of God had come,

Elisha came to Damascus while King Ben-hadad of Aram was sick, and the king was told,“ The man of God has come here.”

Then Elisha came to Damascus. Now Ben hadad, the king of Aram, was sick, and it was told to him, saying,“ The man of God has come here.”

Then Elisha went to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying,“ The man of God has come here.”

And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

Elisha came to Damascus while Ben-hadad king of Aram was sick, and the king was told,“ The man of God has come here.”

Elisha traveled to Damascus while King Ben Hadad of Syria was sick. The king was told,“ The prophet has come here.”

After this, Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up and besieged Samaria.

He gathered men to himself, and became captain over a troop, when David killed them of Zobah. They went to Damascus, and lived there, and reigned in Damascus.

Ben Hadad the king of Syria gathered all his army together; and there were thirty- two kings with him, with horses and chariots. He went up and besieged Samaria, and fought against it.

For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty- five years Ephraim shall be broken in pieces, so that it shall not be a people.

One of his servants said,“ No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

Ben Hadad said to him,“ The cities which my father took from your father I will restore. You shall make streets for yourself in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria.”“ I”, said Ahab,“ will let you go with this covenant.” So he made a covenant with him, and let him go.

Behold, a man of God came out of Judah by Yahweh’s word to Bethel; and Jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense.

He divided himself against them by night, he and his servants, and struck them, and pursued them to Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

The Gazites were told,“ Samson is here!” They surrounded him and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying,“ Wait until morning light; then we will kill him.”

Then the king sent a captain of fifty with his fifty to him. He went up to him; and behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. He said to him,“ Man of God, the king has said,‘ Come down!’”Elijah answered to the captain of fifty,“ If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky, and consume you and your fifty!” Then fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.

When they didn’t find them, they dragged Jason and certain brothers before the rulers of the city, crying,“ These who have turned the world upside down have come here also,

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that was left in the treasures of Yahweh’s house, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered it into the hand of his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben Hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying,
