So he returned to Jezreel to give his wounds time to heal. The soldiers of Aram had wounded him at Ramoth in his battle against Hazael, the king of Aram. Ahaziah, the son of Jehoram, went down to Jezreel. He went there to see Joram. That’s because Joram had been wounded. Ahaziah was king of Judah. Joram was the son of Ahab.

And King Joram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds that the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

有一人随便开弓，恰巧射入以色列王的甲缝里。王对赶车的说：“我受了重伤，你转过车来，拉我出阵吧！”

他听从亚哈家的计谋，同以色列王亚哈的儿子约兰往基列的拉末去，与亚兰王哈薛争战；亚兰人打伤了约兰。约兰回到耶斯列，医治在拉末与亚兰王哈薛打仗所受的伤，犹大王约兰的儿子亚撒利雅因为亚哈的儿子约兰病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。亚哈谢去见约兰就被害了，这是出乎神；因为他到了，就同约兰出去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。这耶户是耶和华所膏、使他剪除亚哈家的。
