Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram;

Ahaziah joined forces with Joram. They went to war against Hazael at Ramoth Gilead. Joram was the son of Ahab. Hazael was king of Aram. The soldiers of Aram wounded King Joram.

He went with Joram the son of Ahab to make war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead, and the Syrians wounded Joram.

Ahaziah joined Joram son of Ahab in his war against King Hazael of Aram at Ramoth gilead. When the Arameans wounded King Joram in the battle,

Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against King Hazael of Aram in Ramoth-gilead, and the Arameans wounded Joram.

He joined Ahab’s son Joram in a battle against King Hazael of Syria at Ramoth Gilead in which the Syrians defeated Joram.

他听从亚哈家的计谋，同以色列王亚哈的儿子约兰往基列的拉末去，与亚兰王哈薛争战；亚兰人打伤了约兰。

在基列的拉末有便基别，他管理在基列的玛拿西子孙睚珥的城邑，巴珊的亚珥歌伯地的大城六十座，都有城墙和铜闩；

又从迦得支派的地业中，将基列的拉末，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了他们；又给他们玛哈念和属城的郊野，

车兵长看见约沙法便说，这必是以色列王，就转过去与他争战。约沙法一呼喊，耶和华就帮助他，神又感动他们离开他。

次日，哈薛拿被窝浸在水中，蒙住王的脸，王就死了。于是哈薛篡了他的位。

以色列王对臣仆说：“你们不知道基列的拉末是属我们的吗？我们岂可静坐不动，不从亚兰王手里夺回来吗？”亚哈问约沙法说：“你肯同我去攻取基列的拉末吗？”约沙法对以色列王说：“你我不分彼此，我的民与你的民一样，我的马与你的马一样。”

哈薛说：“我主为什么哭？”回答说：“因为我知道你必苦害以色列人，用火焚烧他们的保障，用刀杀死他们的壮丁，摔死他们的婴孩，剖开他们的孕妇。”哈薛说：“你仆人算什么，不过是一条狗，焉能行这大事呢？”以利沙回答说：“耶和华指示我，你必作亚兰王。”

先见哈拿尼的儿子耶户出来迎接约沙法王，对他说：“你岂当帮助恶人，爱那恨恶耶和华的人呢？因此耶和华的忿怒临到你。

前行的时候，差人去见犹大王约沙法，说：“摩押王背叛我，你肯同我去攻打摩押吗？”他说：“我肯上去，你我不分彼此，我的民与你的民一样，我的马与你的马一样。”

过了几年，他下到撒玛利亚去见亚哈；亚哈为他和跟从他的人宰了许多牛羊，劝他与自己同去攻取基列的拉末。以色列王亚哈问犹大王约沙法说：“你肯同我去攻取基列的拉末吗？”他回答说：“你我不分彼此，我的民与你的民一样，必与你同去争战。”

但约兰王回到耶斯列，医治与亚兰王哈薛打仗所受的伤。耶户说：“若合你们的意思，就不容人逃出城往耶斯列报信去。”

以色列王和犹大王约沙法上基列的拉末去了。

将来躲避哈薛之刀的，必被耶户所杀；躲避耶户之刀的，必被以利沙所杀。
