所羅門王寵法老女、此外、又寵異族之女甚多、即摩押亞捫以東西頓赫人之女、耶和華曾諭以色列人云、勿與彼族往來相通、彼必誘惑爾心、俾從其神、然所羅門戀愛其女、公主為后妃者七百、嬪嬙三百、皆蠱惑其心、所羅門年邁時、后妃誘之、附於他神、不專心從其上帝耶和華、如父大衛、乃從西頓人之女神亞斯他錄、及亞捫人可憎之神米勒公、

蓋尚有守暗利之例、從亞哈家所為者、而爾遵循其謀、我必使爾寂寞、斯土居民、為人嗤笑、我民之辱、爾必任之、

先見哈拿尼子耶戶出迓曰、爾助惡人、愛憾耶和華者、宜乎、因此、耶和華之怒及爾、

耶路撒冷居民立約蘭季子亞哈謝、繼之為王、因與亞拉伯人同來攻營之羣眾、殺約蘭諸子之長者、故亞哈謝為王、其即位時、年二十有二、在耶路撒冷為王、僅歷一年、其母名亞他利雅、暗利女孫也、亞哈謝循亞哈家之道、蓋其母主謀、使之行惡、行耶和華所惡、如亞哈家然、其父沒後、亞哈家為之主謀、致其淪喪、

勿相嫁娶、爾女勿嫁其子、爾子勿娶其女、彼必誘爾子、不從耶和華、而事他神、致耶和華震怒、滅爾甚速、

人民繁衍於地、乃生女子、上帝子見其豔麗、隨意遴選、娶以為室、耶和華曰、人既屬乎形軀、我神必不恆居其中、然其時日、尚可延至一百二十年、時、有偉人在世、厥後、上帝子與世人之女同室、生子為上古英武有名之人、○耶和華鑒觀世人、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為邪慝、
