以法蓮族、洗利達人、尼八子耶羅波安、其母名洗魯阿、嫠婦也、彼為所羅門臣僕、亦起而叛王、其叛逆之故、乃因所羅門建米羅、修其父大衛城之破壞、耶羅波安乃勇士、所羅門見其少年殷勤、委之督約瑟家之工、時、耶羅波安出耶路撒冷、示羅人先知亞希雅、遇之於途、亞希雅衣新衣、惟二人在田野、亞希雅取其所衣之新衣、裂為十二、謂之曰、爾取其十、蓋以色列之上帝耶和華曰、我必分裂此國、奪於所羅門手、以十支派予爾、惟因我僕大衛、及我於以色列支派中、所簡之邑耶路撒冷故、彼必得一支派、我之行此、乃因其人棄我、崇拜西頓人之女神亞斯他錄、摩押之神基抹、亞捫族之神米勒公、不從我道、行我所悅、不守我之典章律例、如父大衛所為、然我不奪全國於其手、必使之為君、以畢其生、緣我所簡之僕大衛、守我誡命典章故也、惟必奪國於其子手、以十支派予爾、以一支派予其子、使我僕大衛、在我前恆有燈光、於我所簡耶路撒冷、即我寄名之所、我將簡爾、俾從所欲而主治、為以色列王、

其軍長利瑪利子比加叛之、在撒瑪利亞王宮之衛所弒之、及亞珥歌伯與亞利耶、有基列人五十、與之同謀、弒王而篡其位、

猶大王亞撒三年、巴沙弒之、而篡其位、

古諺有云、惡自惡人出、惟我手不加諸爾、

遂遣人攜之入、其人赤色、目秀貌美、耶和華曰、斯人是也、起而膏之、撒母耳取角中之膏、於其諸兄中膏之、自是以後、耶和華之靈大臨大衛、撒母耳啟行、歸於拉瑪、○

在牀謀孽、立於邪途、不憎惡事兮、○

耶戶極力彎弓、射中約蘭兩臂之間、矢穿其心而出、遂仆於車、

在牀謀惡營邪、迨至黎明、以手有力而行之者、其人禍哉、

烏西雅子約坦二十年、以拉子何細亞叛利瑪利子比加、擊而弒之、而篡其位、

大衛曰、毋加殺害、耶和華之受膏者、誰舉手攻之、而無罪乎、又曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、耶和華必擊之、或使及期而死、或使臨陳而亡、耶和華之受膏者、願耶和華禁我舉手攻之、爾第取其首旁之戟、及其水瓶而去、

心利見城已陷、乃入王宮之衛所、縱火焚宮而死、

未被虐而虐人、未被欺而欺人、禍哉其人、爾虐人甫畢、則被虐、爾欺人甫畢、則被欺、
