The king of Aram became very upset over this. He called his officers together and demanded,“ Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?”

亞蘭王緣此中心煩擾、召其臣謂之曰、我中誰助以色列王、爾曹不告我乎、

亞蘭王之心、因此深為懷憂、召其臣僕曰、我中孰助以色列王、盍明告於我。

亞蘭工之心、因此事不安、召臣僕謂之曰、我中有助以色列王者乎、爾其告我、

This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them,“ Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?”

All of that made the king of Aram very angry. He sent for his officers. He said to them,“ Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?”

And the mind of the king of Syria was greatly troubled because of this thing, and he called his servants and said to them,“ Will you not show me who of us is for the king of Israel?”

The king of Aram was enraged because of this matter, and he called his servants and demanded of them,“ Tell me, which one of us is for the king of Israel?”

Now the heart of the king of Aram was enraged over this matter; and he called his servants and said to them,“ Will you not tell me which of us is for the king of Israel?”

Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them,“ Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?”

And the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?

The king of Aram was enraged because of this matter, and he called his servants and demanded of them,“ Tell me, which one of us is for the king of Israel?”

Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us[ is] for the king of Israel?

This made the king of Syria upset. So he summoned his advisers and said to them,“ One of us must be helping the king of Israel.”

The king of Syria’s heart was very troubled about this. He called his servants, and said to them,“ Won’t you show me which of us is for the king of Israel?”

Is that why you have conspired against me? For not one of you told me when my own son made a solemn pact with the son of Jesse. You’re not even sorry for me. Think of it! My own son— encouraging him to kill me, as he is trying to do this very day!”

“ But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt.There is no peace for the wicked,” says my God.

The kings of the earth joined forces and advanced against the city.But when they saw it, they were stunned; they were terrified and ran away.

King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem.He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked,“ Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?”“ In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said,“ for this is what the prophet wrote:‘ And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah, are not least among the ruling cities of Judah, for a ruler will come from you who will be the shepherd for my people Israel.’”Then Herod called for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared.Then he told them,“ Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child. And when you find him, come back and tell me so that I can go and worship him, too!”After this interview the wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was.When they saw the star, they were filled with joy!They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.When it was time to leave, they returned to their own country by another route, for God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.

When the woman saw how distraught he was, she said,“ Sir, I obeyed your command at the risk of my life.

The confident stride of the wicked will be shortened. Their own schemes will be their downfall.The wicked walk into a net. They fall into a pit.A trap grabs them by the heel. A snare holds them tight.A noose lies hidden on the ground. A rope is stretched across their path.“ Terrors surround the wicked and trouble them at every step.
