于是亚哈数点跟从省长的年轻人，共二百三十二名，然后又数点以色列的众军兵，共七千名。

说：‘保罗，不要害怕，你必定站在凯撒面前；并且上帝已把安全赐给与你同船的人了。’

于是乃缦下去，照着神人的话，在约旦河里浸了七次。他的肉复原，好像小孩的肉，他就洁净了。

通达人见祸就藏躲；愚蒙人却前往受害。

我何时指着恶人说：‘他必要死’；你若不警戒他，也不劝告他，使他离开恶行，拯救他的性命，这恶人必死在罪孽之中；我却要从你手里讨他的血债。倘若你警戒恶人，他仍不转离罪恶，也不离开恶行，他必死在罪孽之中，你却救了自己的命。但是义人若转离他的义而作恶，我要把绊脚石放在他面前，他必死亡；因你没有警戒他，他必死在罪中，他素来所行的义不被记念；我却要从你手里讨他的血债。倘若你警戒义人，使他不犯罪，他就不犯罪；他因领受警戒就必存活，你也救了自己的命。”

因着信，挪亚既蒙上帝指示他未见的事，动了敬畏的心，造了方舟，使他全家得救。藉此他定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那从信而来的义。

清晨，众人早起往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说：信靠耶和华—你们的上帝就必站立得稳；信赖他的先知就必亨通。”

因为在梦中得到主的指示，不要回去见希律，他们就从别的路回自己的家乡去了。
