She went and told the man of God, and he said,“ Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

你們自己本來就知道應當怎樣效法我們，因為我們在你們中間並沒有游手好閒，也沒有白吃過誰的飯，反而辛苦勞碌，晝夜作工，免得加重你們任何一人的負擔。這不是因為我們沒有權利，而是要給你們作榜樣，好讓你們效法我們。我們在你們那裡的時候，曾經吩咐過你們，如果有人不肯作工，就不可吃飯。因為我們聽說，你們中間有人游手好閒，甚麼工也不作，反倒專管閒事。我們靠著主耶穌基督，吩咐勸戒這樣的人，要安靜作工，自食其力。

弟兄們，你們應該記得我們的辛苦和勞碌；我們把神的福音傳給你們的時候，怎樣晝夜作工，免得你們有人受累。我們對你們信的人是多麼聖潔、公義、無可指摘，這是你們和神都可以作證的。

最後，弟兄們，凡是真實的、莊重的、公正的、純潔的、可愛的、聲譽好的，無論是甚麼美德，甚麼稱讚，這些事你們都應當思念。

但是，神的話臨到神人示瑪雅，說：

使你們行事為人可以得到外人的尊敬，自己也不會有甚麼缺乏了。

不可以惡報惡。大家以為美的事，要努力去作。

惡人借貸總不償還，義人卻慷慨施捨。
