挪亚因为有信心，在上帝指示他未来要发生的事之后，就怀着敬畏的心建造方舟，来救全家的人。他借着信心定了那个世代的罪，并承受了因信而来的义。亚伯拉罕因为有信心，听到上帝的呼召后，就遵命前往他将要承受为产业的地方，但他出发的时候还不知道自己要去哪里。

相信主所说的话必实现的女子有福了！”

那妇人就依照以利亚的话做了。妇人一家和以利亚就这样吃了许多天，坛里的面没有用完，瓶里的油也没有用光，应验了耶和华借以利亚说的话。

乃缦却怒冲冲地走了。他说：“我以为他一定会出来见我，为我站着求告他的上帝耶和华，用手在我的患处晃一晃，医好我的麻风病。
