僕人說：「這些怎麼夠一百人吃呢？」以利沙說：「你只管分給眾人吃。因為耶和華說，『眾人都能吃飽，並且還會剩下。』」

仆人说：“这一点岂可摆给一百人吃呢？”以利沙说：“你只管给众人吃吧！因为耶和华如此说，众人必吃了，还剩下。”

從者曰、以此供給百人、將若何。曰、可供厥眾。蓋耶和華云、其必食足而有餘。

“ How can I set this before a hundred men?” his servant asked. But Elisha answered,“ Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the Lord says:‘ They will eat and have some left over.’”

“ How can I put this in front of 100 men?” his servant asked. But Elisha answered,“ Give it to the people to eat. Do it because the Lord says,‘ They will eat and have some left over.’ ”

But his servant said,“ How can I set this before a hundred men?” So he repeated,“ Give them to the men, that they may eat, for thus says the Lord,‘ They shall eat and have some left.’”

“ What?” his servant exclaimed.“ Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated,“ Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the Lord says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!”

But Elisha’s attendant asked,“ What? Am I to set this before a hundred men?”“ Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said,“ for this is what the LORD says:‘ They will eat, and they will have some left over.’”

But his attendant said,“ How am I to serve this to a hundred men?” Nevertheless he said,“ Give them to the people that they may eat, for this is what the Lord says:‘ They shall eat and have some left over.’ ”

But his servant said,“ What? Shall I set this before one hundred men?” He said again,“ Give it to the people, that they may eat; for thus says the Lord:‘ They shall eat and have some left over.’”

And his servant said, What, should I set this before a hundred men? But he said, Give the people, that they may eat; for thus saith Jehovah, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.

But Elisha’s attendant asked,“ What? Am I to set 20 loaves before 100 men?”“ Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said,“ for this is what the Lord says:‘ They will eat, and they will have some left over.’”

And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave[ thereof].

But his attendant said,“ How can I feed a hundred men with this?” He replied,“ Set it before the people so they may eat, for this is what the LORD says,‘ They will eat and have some left over.’”

His servant said,“ What, should I set this before a hundred men?” But he said,“ Give the people, that they may eat; for Yahweh says,‘ They will eat, and will have some left over.’”

耶穌對他們說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」使徒們說：「我們只有五個餅和兩條魚，除非我們去買食物才夠這麼一大群人吃。」

「這裡有個小孩子帶了五個大麥餅和兩條魚。不過，這麼多人，這一點東西實在無濟於事。」

大家都吃飽了，把剩下的零碎收拾起來，竟裝滿了十二個籃子。

大家都吃了，並且吃飽了。門徒把剩下的碎餅、碎魚收拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。

耶穌又說：「我用七個餅餵飽四千人的時候，你們撿了多少筐零碎呢？」門徒答道：「七筐。」

耶穌說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」門徒說：「我們哪來這麼多錢買東西給他們吃啊？」耶穌說：「看看你們有多少餅。」他們察看後，說：「有五個餅和兩條魚。」耶穌吩咐門徒叫大家分組坐在草地上。

門徒說：「在這荒野，如何找到足夠的食物給這些人吃呢？」

耶穌回答說：「他們不用離開，你們給他們吃的吧。」門徒答道：「我們這裡只有五個餅和兩條魚。」

耶穌拿起餅來祝謝後，分給坐著的眾人，然後又照樣分魚，眾人可以隨意吃。他們吃飽後，耶穌對門徒說：「把剩下的零碎收拾起來，免得浪費。」他們便把大家吃剩的那五個大麥餅的零碎收拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。

大家都吃飽了，把剩下的零碎收拾起來，竟裝滿了十二個籃子。

大家都吃了，並且吃飽了，剩下的零碎裝滿了七個筐子。

耶穌知道他們的心思，就說：「你們的信心太小了！為什麼議論沒有帶餅的事呢？你們還不明白嗎？你們不記得那五個餅讓五千人吃飽，又裝滿多少籃子嗎？也不記得那七個餅給四千人吃飽，又裝滿多少筐子嗎？

門徒說：「在這荒野，我們到哪裡找足夠的食物給這麼多人吃呢？」耶穌問：「你們有多少餅？」門徒答道：「七個，還有幾條小魚。」
