But the boy’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I won’t go home unless you go with me.” So Elisha returned with her.

子之母曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我必不離爾、以利沙遂起、與之偕往、

But the child’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

But the child’s mother said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So Elisha got up and followed her.

Then the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

And the mother of the child said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,[ As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The mother of the child said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha got up and followed her back.

The child’s mother said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose, and followed her.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Jericho.” But Elisha replied again,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you.” So they went on together to Jericho.

But Ruth replied,“ Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said nothing more.

One day Moses said to the Lord,“ You have been telling me,‘ Take these people up to the Promised Land.’ But you haven’t told me whom you will send with me. You have told me,‘ I know you by name, and I look favorably on you.’If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people.”The Lord replied,“ I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest— everything will be fine for you.”Then Moses said,“ If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place.How will anyone know that you look favorably on me— on me and on your people— if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.”
