The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

子之母曰、我指耶和華以誓、亦指爾生命以誓、我必不離爾。以利沙遂起偕行。

子之母曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我必不離爾、以利沙遂起、與之偕往、

But the child’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

But the child’s mother said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So Elisha got up and followed her.

Then the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

But the boy’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I won’t go home unless you go with me.” So Elisha returned with her.

The mother of the boy said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

And the mother of the child said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,[ As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The mother of the child said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha got up and followed her back.

The child’s mother said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose, and followed her.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the LORD is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to him,“ Elisha, stay here; the LORD is sending me to Jericho.” But Elisha said,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho.

But Ruth replied: Don’t plead with me to abandon you or to return and not follow you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD punish me, and do so severely, if anything but death separates you and me.When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped talking to her.

Moses said to the LORD,“ Look, you have told me,‘ Lead this people up,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You said,‘ I know you by name, and you have also found favor with me.’Now if I have indeed found favor with you, please teach me your ways, and I will know you, so that I may find favor with you. Now consider that this nation is your people.”And he replied,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”“ If your presence does not go,” Moses responded to him,“ don’t make us go up from here.How will it be known that I and your people have found favor with you unless you go with us? I and your people will be distinguished by this from all the other people on the face of the earth.”
