迦勒底人烧了神的殿，拆毁了耶路撒冷的城墙，用火烧了城里所有的宫殿，又毁坏了城里一切珍贵的器皿。

迦勒底人必回来，攻击这城，占领这城，放火烧毁这城。’

即使你们击败了那攻打你们的迦勒底全军，他们中间只剩下一些受重伤的人，他们也必各从自己的帐棚里起来，放火烧毁这城。’”

有人在谈论圣殿，是用美丽的石头和供物装饰的。耶稣说：“你们看见的这些，到了日子，必没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，每一块都要拆下来。”

主丢弃了自己的祭坛，厌弃了自己的圣所。他把宫殿的围墙，交付在仇敌的手里；他们在耶和华的殿中喧嚷，好像庆祝节日一样。

“所以我从前怎样对待示罗，将来也怎样对待你们所倚靠的那称为我名下的殿，以及我赐给你们和你们列祖的地方。

你为什么奉耶和华的名预言，说：‘这殿必像示罗一样，这城必变为荒场，没有人居住呢？’”于是众民在耶和华的殿里集合到耶利米那里。

并且造了假的证供说：“这人不断抨击圣地和律法。我们听他说过：‘这拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏这地方，改变摩西传给我们的规例。’”

敌人伸手夺取她的一切珍宝，她看着外族人闯入她的圣所：你曾禁止他们进入你的会中。
