On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, an official of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

Nebuzaradan was an official of the king of Babylon. In fact, he was commander of the royal guard. He came to Jerusalem. It was in the 19th year that Nebuchadnezzar was king of Babylon. It was on the seventh day of the fifth month.

In the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month— that was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the captain of the bodyguard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

On August 14 of that year, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard and an official of the Babylonian king, arrived in Jerusalem.

On the seventh day of the fifth month— which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guards, a servant of the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem.

Now on the seventh day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month( which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem.

On the seventh day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the commander of the guards, a servant of the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem.

And in the fifth month, on the seventh[ day] of the month, which[ is] the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the royal guard who served the king of Babylon, arrived in Jerusalem.

Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十，在巴比伦王面前侍立的尼布撒拉旦护卫长进入耶路撒冷，他焚烧了耶和华的殿、王宫和耶路撒冷的房屋；用火焚烧所有大户人家的房屋。跟随护卫长的迦勒底全军拆毁了耶路撒冷四围的城墙。那时尼布撒拉旦护卫长将百姓中最穷的和城里所剩下的百姓，并那些投降巴比伦王的人，以及剩下的工匠，都掳去了。但尼布撒拉旦护卫长留下一些当地最穷的人，叫他们修整葡萄园，耕种田地。

耶利米被链子锁在耶路撒冷和犹大被掳到巴比伦的人中，尼布撒拉旦护卫长把他从拉玛提出来，释放他以后，耶和华的话临到耶利米。护卫长提耶利米来，对他说：“耶和华—你的上帝曾说要降这灾祸给此地。耶和华照他所说的做了，已使这灾祸临到；因你们得罪耶和华，不听从他的话，所以这事临到你们。看哪，现在我解开你手上的链子，你若看与我同往巴比伦去好，就可以去，我必厚待你；你若看与我同往巴比伦去不好，就不必去。看哪，全地在你面前，你以为哪里美好，哪里合宜，只管去吧

地上的君王和世上的居民都不信敌人和仇敌竟能进入耶路撒冷的城门。

迦勒底人用火焚烧王宫和百姓的房屋，又拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙。那时，尼布撒拉旦护卫长把城里所剩下的百姓和投降他的降民，以及其余的百姓都掳到巴比伦去了。尼布撒拉旦护卫长却把百姓中一无所有的穷人留在犹大地，当时就赏给他们葡萄园和田地。巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒为了耶利米，嘱咐尼布撒拉旦护卫长：“你领他去，好好地看待他，切不可害他；他对你怎么说，你就向他怎样做。”尼布撒拉旦护卫长和尼布沙斯班将军、尼甲‧沙利薛将军，并巴比伦王众官长，派人把耶利米从护卫兵的院中提出来，交给沙番的孙子，亚希甘的儿子基大利，让他自由进出屋子；于是耶利米住在百姓中间。

巴比伦王以未‧米罗达作王的元年，就是犹大王约雅斤被掳后三十七年，十二月二十七日，他使犹大王约雅斤抬起头来，提他出监，

“万军之耶和华如此说：四月的禁食、五月的禁食、七月的禁食和十月的禁食，必成为犹大家的欢喜和快乐，以及美好的节期；所以你们要喜爱诚实与和平。

犹大王约雅斤和他母亲、臣仆、王子、官员一同出来，向巴比伦王投降。巴比伦王俘掳了他，那时是巴比伦王第八年。
