On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, an official of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

Nebuzaradan was an official of the king of Babylon. In fact, he was commander of the royal guard. He came to Jerusalem. It was in the 19th year that Nebuchadnezzar was king of Babylon. It was on the seventh day of the fifth month.

In the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month— that was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the captain of the bodyguard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

On August 14 of that year, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard and an official of the Babylonian king, arrived in Jerusalem.

On the seventh day of the fifth month— which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guards, a servant of the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem.

耶路撒冷居民、與猶大人被擄至巴比倫、耶利米亦為侍衛長尼布撒拉但所執、縲絏於其中、及至拉瑪、尼布撒拉但釋之去、其後耶利米蒙主默示、侍衛長召耶利米告之曰、主爾之天主、曾言降災於斯地、今主已降之、如言而行、因爾曹獲罪於主、不聽其命、故遭遇此事、我今解爾手之鐵索、手之鐵索或作手梏如爾欲偕我往巴比倫、則可往、我必眷顧爾、如不欲偕我往巴比倫、則可不往、全地於爾前、爾欲何往、隨意可往、

仇敵能入耶路撒冷邑門、天下君王、世間億兆、素所不信、

迦勒底人、以火焚王宮及民室、毀耶路撒冷城垣、侍衛長尼布撒拉但、將邑中所留之民、與降之之人、以及其餘遺民、悉擄至巴比倫、惟民之貧窮、毫無所有者、侍衛長尼布撒拉但留於猶大地、當日以葡萄園與田畝予之、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒為耶利米命侍衛長尼布撒拉但曰、爾提之出獄、原文作爾取彼眷顧之、毫勿加害、惟視其所欲而施之焉、侍衛長尼布撒拉但、宦官長尼布沙斯班、博士長尼甲沙利薛、及巴比倫王諸侯伯、遣人提耶利米出獄院、託於沙番孫亞希甘子基大利、使攜於其家、於是耶利米居於民間、

猶大王約雅斤被擄後三十七年、巴比倫王以未米羅達即位之年、十二月二十七日、出猶大王約雅斤於獄、

萬有之主如是云、四月禁食之日、五月禁食之日、七月禁之日、十月禁食之日、將在猶大族中、變為歡樂欣喜之日、變為佳良之節期、惟爾當好真實與和平、

巴比倫王第八年、猶大王約雅斤偕其母與臣僕、牧伯、宦官、皆出而降巴比倫王、巴比倫王執之、
