Neither in the days of the judges who led Israel nor in the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah had any such Passover been observed.

A Passover Feast like that one had not been held for a long time. There hadn’t been any like it in the days of the judges who led Israel. And there hadn’t been any like it during the whole time the kings of Israel and Judah were ruling.

For no such Passover had been kept since the days of the judges who judged Israel, or during all the days of the kings of Israel or of the kings of Judah.

There had not been a Passover celebration like that since the time when the judges ruled in Israel, nor throughout all the years of the kings of Israel and Judah.

No such Passover had ever been observed from the time of the judges who judged Israel through the entire time of the kings of Israel and Judah.

Truly such a Passover had not been celebrated since the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah.

Such a Passover surely had never been held since the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah.

Surely there was not kept such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;

No such Passover had ever been kept from the time of the judges who judged Israel through the entire time of the kings of Israel and Judah.

Surely there was not holden such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;

He issued this edict because a Passover like this had not been observed since the days of the judges; it was neglected for the entire period of the kings of Israel and Judah.

Surely there was not kept such a Passover from the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;

希西家遣使往以色列及猶大地、並致書於以法蓮瑪拿西人、使之咸至耶路撒冷耶和華室、守逾越節、奉事以色列之上帝耶和華、王與牧伯、及耶路撒冷會眾相議、於二月守逾越節、其不能如期而守之、因自潔之祭司不足、民亦未集於耶路撒冷故也、

諭誨以色列眾之利未人、即區別為聖歸於耶和華者、曰、當以聖匱、置於以色列王、大衛子所羅門所建之室、不復肩負、宜奉事爾之上帝耶和華、服事其民以色列、亦當自備、按爾宗族、循爾班列、遵以色列王大衛、及其子所羅門所書者、立於聖所、循爾昆弟宗族之班列、各班當有利未人、宰逾越節羔、自潔、為爾昆弟備之、遵耶和華藉摩西所諭之言、約西亞賜在彼之民、綿羊羔山羊羔三萬、牡牛三千、以為逾越節之祭品、悉自王產取之、王之牧伯亦樂輸祭品、予民及祭司利未人、司上帝室者、希勒家、撒迦利亞、耶歇、予祭司羔羊二千六百、牡牛三百、以為逾越節之祭品、利未族長歌楠雅、與其昆弟示瑪雅、拿坦業、及哈沙比雅、耶利、約撒拔、予利未人羔羊五千、牡牛五百、以為逾越節之祭品、於是役事俱備、祭司立於其所、利未人循其班列而立、俱遵王命、利未人宰逾越節羔、祭司由其手受血沃之、利未人剝皮、所獻燔祭、循其宗族班列、以頒於民、俾獻於耶和華、循摩西書所載、頒牛亦如是、循其常例、火炙逾越節羔、其餘聖祭、烹於釜鼎鑊、速頒於民、厥後、為己及祭司備之、蓋祭司即亞倫子孫、獻燔祭與脂至夕、故利未人為己及祭司備之、謳歌者亞薩裔、立於其所、循大衛亞薩希幔、及王之先見耶杜頓所命、閽人在各門、無庸離其職守、因其昆弟利未人為之備也、是日供役於耶和華、其事俱備、即守逾越節、獻燔祭於耶和華壇、循約西亞王所命、維時、在彼之以色列人守逾越節、及除酵節七日、自先知撒母耳以來、在以色列、未嘗守如是之逾越節、以色列列王守逾越節、未有若約西亞、與祭司利未人、及同在之猶大與以色列眾、並耶路撒冷居民所守者、守此逾越節、乃約西亞在位之十八年也、○

二月、民眾集於耶路撒冷、守除酵節、其數甚多、成為大會、眾起、盡除耶路撒冷之壇、及焚香之器、投於汲淪溪、二月十四日、宰逾越節羔、祭司及利未人愧而自潔、攜燔祭入耶和華室、循例各立其所、遵上帝僕摩西之律、祭司由利未人手、受血而沃之、會中人多未自潔、故利未人為不潔者宰逾越節羔、俾為潔於耶和華前、以法蓮、瑪拿西、以薩迦、西布倫、有多人未自潔、而食逾越節羔、不循所錄之例、希西家為之禱曰、凡人決心尋求其列祖之上帝耶和華、雖未依聖所之潔禮自潔、願善良之耶和華宥之、耶和華允希西家所祈、而宥其民、
