“祭祀别神，不单单祭祀耶和华的，那人必要灭绝。

耶户献完了燔祭，就出来吩咐护卫兵和众军长说：“你们进去杀他们，不容一人出来！”护卫兵和军长就用刀杀他们，将尸首抛出去，便到巴力庙的城去了，

将他们祭司的骸骨烧在坛上，洁净了犹大和耶路撒冷；

以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脱！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

神人奉耶和华的命向坛呼叫，说：“坛哪，坛哪！耶和华如此说：大卫家里必生一个儿子，名叫约西亚，他必将邱坛的祭司，就是在你上面烧香的，杀在你上面，人的骨头也必烧在你上面。”

耶和华的刀满了血，用脂油和羊羔、公山羊的血，并公绵羊腰子的脂油滋润的；因为耶和华在波斯拉有献祭的事，在以东地大行杀戮。

那先知或是那做梦的既用言语叛逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华你们的神，要勾引你离开耶和华你神所吩咐你行的道，你便要将他治死。这样，就把那恶从你们中间除掉。

万军之耶和华说：“那日，我必从地上除灭偶像的名，不再被人记念；也必使这地不再有假先知与污秽的灵。若再有人说预言，生他的父母必对他说：‘你不得存活，因为你托耶和华的名说假预言。’生他的父母在他说预言的时候，要将他刺透。
