王曰、毋遷其骨、遂弗遷。撒馬利亞先知之骨亦弗遷。

“ Leave it alone,” he said.“ Don’t let anyone disturb his bones.” So they spared his bones and those of the prophet who had come from Samaria.

“ Leave it alone,” Josiah said.“ Don’t let anyone touch his bones.” So they spared his bones. They also spared the bones of the prophet who had come from the northern kingdom of Israel.

And he said,“ Let him be; let no man move his bones.” So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came out of Samaria.

Josiah replied,“ Leave it alone. Don’t disturb his bones.” So they did not burn his bones or those of the old prophet from Samaria.

So he said,“ Let him rest. Don’t let anyone disturb his bones.” So they left his bones undisturbed with the bones of the prophet who came from Samaria.

And he said,“ Leave him alone; no one is to disturb his bones.” So they left his bones undisturbed with the bones of the prophet who came from Samaria.

And he said,“ Let him alone; let no one move his bones.” So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came from Samaria.

And he said, Let him be; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.

So he said,“ Let him rest. Don’t let anyone disturb his bones.” So they left his bones undisturbed with the bones of the prophet who came from Samaria.

The king said,“ Leave it alone! No one must touch his bones.” So they left his bones undisturbed, as well as the bones of the Israelite prophet buried beside him.

He said,“ Let him be! Let no one move his bones.” So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came out of Samaria.

既葬、則告眾子曰、我死當葬我與上帝僕同墓、以我骨置其側。

時值耶羅破暗侍於壇側、方欲焚香、有上帝之僕、奉耶和華命、自猶大至伯特利、指壇而呼曰、嗟乎此壇、耶和華有命云、大闢之家必挺生一子、名約西亞、取崇邱之祭司、焚香於是壇者、獻於壇上、亦取死者之骨、焚於此壇。上帝之僕預言異跡曰、此壇必裂、其灰盡傾、是耶和華所預言之異跡。耶羅破暗王、聞上帝之僕、叱咤伯特利之壇、則伸其手曰、當執之、所伸之手、即枯不能縮。壇亦裂、灰亦傾、應上帝僕循耶和華命、所預言之異跡。王告上帝之僕曰、請爾在爾上帝耶和華前祈禱、俾我手得愈。上帝之僕求於耶和華前、王手遂愈、仍如平時。王曰、爾同我歸、補爾精力、我必加以賞賚。上帝之僕曰、即爾以家之半賜於我、我不入爾室、亦不食餅飲水於此。蓋耶和華曾命我曰、毋食餅飲水於此、所往之途毋再由之。上帝之僕反自伯特利、由他途而歸。○有先知居伯特利、其年已老、眾子咸至、以上帝之僕、當日在伯特利所作之事、所奏之言、悉以告父。父問上帝之僕自猶大至者、由何途而往、眾子知其所往之途、則以告父。父曰、為我備驢、既備則乘之、跡上帝僕之後、見其坐於橡下、問曰、上帝之僕、自猶大而至者、果爾乎。曰、是也。曰、盍與我歸、偕我食餅、曰、我不得與爾歸、入爾室、亦不得食餅飲水於伯特利。蓋耶和華命我云、毋食餅飲水於此、所往之途毋再由之。伯特利先知紿之曰我乃先知、與爾無異、有天使奉耶和華命告我曰、攜彼同歸、使食餅飲水。上帝之僕、遂與偕歸、食餅飲水。席間伯特利先知得耶和華默喻、告自猶大而至上帝之僕、曰、耶和華云、因爾違命、不守爾上帝耶和華誡、乃復至此、在耶和華所禁之處、食餅飲水、故爾尸骸、不得與父同葬。
