书记沙番又对王说：“祭司希勒家递给我一卷书。”沙番就在王面前读那书。

沙番书记又向王报告说：“希勒家祭司递给我一卷书。”沙番就在王面前朗读那书。

他又告诉王：“希勒迦祭司给了我一卷书。”沙番就在王面前诵读这书。

书记沙番又告诉王说：“希勒家大祭司交给我一卷书卷。”书记沙番就在王面前诵读那书卷。

書記沙番又對王說：「祭司希勒家遞給我一卷書。」沙番就在王面前讀那書。

沙番書記又向王報告說：「希勒家祭司遞給我一卷書。」沙番就在王面前朗讀那書。

祕書沙番又告訴王說：『祭司希勒家遞給了我一卷書。』沙番就在王面前唸它。

又奏王曰、祭司希勒家授我一書、遂讀於王前、

又曰、祭司希勒家以書予我。遂取書陳王、誦於王前。

Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.

Shaphan continued,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” Shaphan read some of it to the king.

Then Shaphan the secretary told the king,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it before the king.

Shaphan also told the king,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a scroll.” So Shaphan read it to the king.

Then the court secretary Shaphan told the king,“ The priest Hilkiah has given me a book,” and Shaphan read it in the presence of the king.

Moreover, Shaphan the scribe informed the king, saying,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it in the presence of the king.

Then Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it before the king.

And Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

Then Shaphan the court secretary told the king,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a book,” and Shaphan read it in the presence of the king.

And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

Then Shaphan the scribe told the king,“ Hilkiah the priest has given me a scroll.” Shaphan read it out loud before the king.

Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying,“ Hilkiah the priest has delivered a book to me.” Then Shaphan read it before the king.

王遣猶底取卷至、猶底遂取卷於繕寫以利沙瑪之房、猶底遂讀之於王前、及侍於王側之諸侯伯前、

當告王與后曰、爾當自卑而坐於下、爾榮美之冕、必自爾首而墮、

主如是諭我曰、爾詣猶大王宮、以斯言宣之曰、坐於大衛位者猶大王、及爾臣民、凡出入斯門者、宜聽主言、

繕寫沙番又奏王曰、祭司希勒家以書授我、沙番遂讀於王前、

當日、人誦摩西書、俾民俱聞、遇書中所載云、亞捫人、摩押人、永不得入天主之會、

眾謂之曰、爾坐讀卷使我儕聽、巴錄讀之使眾聽、

摩西書此律法授舁主約匱之祭司利未人、與以色列長老、諭之曰、每七年之末年、即豁免之年、於居廬節期、以色列眾咸至、覲主爾之天主在其所選之處、當誦此律法在以色列眾前、使其聞之、當集眾民、男女幼子、及寄居爾邑之外邦客旅、使彼聽而學之、如此、則能敬畏主爾之天主、謹守遵行此律法之諸言、亦使其子女、尚無所識者聽之、即學終身敬畏主爾之天主、在爾渡約但將得之地、○

適見律法書載主命摩西云、以色列人、當在七月節期居於廬、亦當在各邑及耶路撒冷布告曰、而往於山、取油果樹枝、油木枝、岡拈樹枝、巴勒瑪樹枝、與各茂密之樹枝、遵所載者以構廬、

既登王位、當由祭司利未人所守此律法之書、抄錄一卷、存於其所、畢生誦之、則可知畏其天主耶和華、恪守此律法一切言、遵行此諸律例、俾不心驕藐視同族人、不向左不向右偏離誡命、則可在以色列人中久居王位、爰及其子孫、

七月將至、以色列人已居故邑、民眾乃同心如一人、集於水門前之衢、請文士以斯拉攜摩西之律法書、即載主所命以色列人之律法者、七月朔日、祭司以斯拉攜律法書、至諸男女凡聽而能知之者會眾前、在水門前之衢、自朝至於日中、誦讀於諸男女凡能知之者前、誦讀於諸男女凡能知之者前或作誦讀於諸男女及能知之孩提前眾民側耳細聽律法之書、眾為此事特製木臺、文士以斯拉立於其上、瑪提提雅、示瑪、亞奈雅、烏利雅、希勒家、瑪西雅、立其右、毘大雅、米沙利、瑪基雅、哈順、哈拔大拿、撒迦利亞、米書蘭、立其左、以斯拉立於眾民之上、展書在眾民目前、既展書、眾民肅然而起、以斯拉頌讚主至大之天主、眾民舉手應聲曰、阿們、阿們、遂鞠躬俯伏於地拜主、耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅民、亞谷、沙比太、何第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毘萊雅、與利未人皆訓民、使明律法之意、民咸立於其所、

禁食之日、民詣主之殿、爾往以爾循我口傳所書於卷之主言、讀於耶路撒冷民前、亦讀於自各邑詣主殿之猶大人前、

自首日至末日、以斯拉日日誦讀天主律法之書、民眾守節期歷七日、至八日有大會、循其常例、
