我已选择这殿，使之圣洁，永远归在我的名下，我的眼和我的心必常在那里。

但如果你们转向我，谨遵我的诫命，即使你们流落天涯，我也必从那里把你们召集到我选为我名所在之地。’

因为耶和华已经拣选了锡安，愿意将锡安作为祂的居所。祂说：“这是我永远的居所；我要住在这里，因为我喜爱这地方。

玛拿西将偶像和外族人的神像从耶和华的殿中除去，又把他在圣殿山和耶路撒冷筑造的一切祭坛全部拆掉，扔在城外。
