不可把儿女当作祭物献给假神摩洛，不可亵渎你上帝的名。我是耶和华。

不可求问灵媒或巫师，玷污自己。我是你们的上帝耶和华。

“不可吃带血的肉，不可占卜或行巫术。

反而步以色列诸王的后尘，效法耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的外族人的可憎行径，把自己的儿子焚烧献作祭物。

你们当中不可有人焚烧自己的子女作祭物，不可有人占卜、算命、作法、行邪术、念咒、做灵媒、行巫术或求问亡灵。凡做这些事的人都是耶和华所憎恶的。正是因为当地的民族做这些可憎之事，你们的上帝耶和华才要当着你们的面把他们赶走。你们要在你们的上帝耶和华面前纯全无过。“你们将要赶走的那些民族听信术士和巫师，但你们的上帝耶和华不准你们仿效他们。

他不但在欣嫩子谷烧香，还效法耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的外族人的可憎行径，焚烧自己的儿子作祭物。

耶和华会喜爱成千的公羊和万条油河吗？我要因过犯而献上自己的长子，因心中的罪恶而献上亲生的骨肉吗？

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“在你们或寄居在你们中间的外族人中，如果有人把子女献给假神摩洛，必须处死他，当地的人要用石头打死他。我也必严惩那人，将他从民中铲除。因为他把子女献给摩洛，玷污我的圣所，亵渎我的圣名。

埃及人必灰心丧志，我必破坏他们的计谋。他们必求问偶像、巫师、灵媒和术士。

所多玛人极其邪恶，在耶和华眼中罪恶滔天。

扫罗死了，因为他对耶和华不忠，不听从祂的教诲，甚至去求问灵媒，

他还在欣嫩子谷把自己的儿子烧死，献作祭物。他行巫术、占卜、观兆，求问灵媒和巫师。他做了许多耶和华视为恶的事，惹耶和华发怒。

这些灾祸临到犹大是出自耶和华的命令。耶和华要把犹大人从自己面前赶走，是因为玛拿西所犯的一切罪。玛拿西滥杀无辜，使耶路撒冷血流遍地，耶和华不会赦免这些罪行。

有人让你们去求问那些念念有词的巫师和术士，你们不要去。你们要去求问你们的上帝，活人的事怎能求问死人呢？

一天，我们又去河边那个祷告的地方，途中遇到一个被巫鬼附身的女奴。她用占卜为她的主人们赚了不少钱。
