Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end— besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, so that they did evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Manasseh also spilled the blood of many people who weren’t guilty of doing anything wrong. He spilled so much blood that he filled Jerusalem with it from one end of the city to the other. And he caused Judah to commit sin. So they also did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

因猶大王瑪拿西行此諸可憎之事、較昔亞摩利人所行尤甚、使猶大人崇拜所作之偶像、陷於罪愆、

毋污爾所居之地、殺人流血、即為污其地、若殺人流血於地、不殺殺人者流其血、則地不得潔、

耶路撒冷乎、耶路撒冷乎、常殺先知、石擊奉遣就爾者、我屢欲集爾赤子、似母鷄集雛於翼下、惟爾不欲、

祭司諸長取其銀、曰、此乃血值、不可貯於殿庫、

被石擊、被鋸解、試以酷刑、死於鋒刃、衣綿羊山羊之皮、奔走無定、受窮乏、患難、困苦、

又必使之受凌虐於天下萬邦、皆因猶大王希西家子瑪拿西、所行於耶路撒冷之事、

因彼違棄我、視斯地若異邦、在此焚香於他神、即彼與其列祖、及猶大列王所未識之神、亦於斯地徧殺無辜、亦於斯地徧殺無辜原文作以無辜之血盈於此所

乃瑪拿西誘猶大人及耶路撒冷居民行惡、較主在以色列人前所滅之諸族尤甚、

爾殺無辜之貧者、血跡在爾衣裾、非因遇之於掘垣、乃因責爾以此諸惡事、

又在主殿置所作之亞舍拉偶像、昔主諭大衛及其子所羅門曰、我於以色列諸支派中、所選耶路撒冷及此殿、我必使我名在其中、至於永遠、

求主赦宥主所贖之以色列民、莫以流無辜血之罪、歸主之民以色列、於是、流斯人血之罪、可得赦免、爾行主所悅之事、則流無辜血之罪、可除於爾中、○

又曰、若我在我祖時、必不與謀流先知之血、是爾自證爾為殺先知者之裔、

摩西謂亞倫曰、斯民於爾何為、竟使之陷於重罪、

猶大遘此災、乃由主所命、欲除之於其前、皆因瑪拿西所作之罪惡、亦因其流無辜之血、徧於耶路撒冷、此罪主決不赦免、

不欺凌遠人與孤寡、不在此地、殺戮無辜、不從他神、以召禍患、

因以色列人作偶像、偶像原文作諸亞舍拉干犯主怒、故主必擊之、使如蘆葦搖於水中、拔以色列人之根、於所賜其列祖之美地、散之河外、因耶羅波安干犯罪戾、使以色列人陷於罪、故主必將以色列人付於敵手、○
