我要用量度撒玛利亚的准绳和测试亚哈家的铅锤，测量耶路撒冷；我要抹净耶路撒冷，像人抹净盘子一样。抹完了，就把盘子翻转过来。

我將以量撒瑪利亞之繩、與權亞哈家之錘、施於耶路撒冷、或作昔我滅撒瑪利亞及亞哈家必循此準繩以滅耶路撒冷必拭去耶路撒冷、如人拭盂即覆之、

I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria and the plumb line used against the house of Ahab. I will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will measure out punishment against Jerusalem, just as I did against Samaria. I used a plumb line against the royal family of Ahab. I used it to prove that they did not measure up to my standards. I will use the same plumb line against Jerusalem. I will wipe out Jerusalem, just as someone wipes a dish. I will wipe it and turn it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria, and the plumb line of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will judge Jerusalem by the same standard I used for Samaria and the same measure I used for the family of Ahab. I will wipe away the people of Jerusalem as one wipes a dish and turns it upside down.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line used on Samaria and the mason’s level used on the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem clean as one wipes a bowl— wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem clean just as one wipes a bowl, wiping it and turning it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line used on Samaria and the mason’s level used on the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem clean as one wipes a bowl— wiping it and turning it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as[ a man] wipeth a dish, wiping[ it], and turning[ it] upside down.

I will destroy Jerusalem the same way I did Samaria and the dynasty of Ahab. I will wipe Jerusalem clean, just as one wipes a plate on both sides.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of Ahab’s house; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

但鹈鹕与箭猪要占据那地，猫头鹰和乌鸦必住在其中。耶和华必把混沌的准绳、空虚的线铊，拉在其上。

以色列啊！你的人民虽然像海沙那样多，却只有余剩的人可以归回，因为灭绝的事已经定了，公义必如洪水泛滥。

你走了你姊姊所走的路，所以我必把她的杯交在你手里。主耶和华这样说：你必喝你姊姊所喝的杯，那杯又深又阔，容量甚大，必使你成为嗤笑和讥讽的对象。你必酩酊大醉，充满愁苦，那是惊慌和荒凉的杯，就是你姊姊撒玛利亚的杯。你要喝这杯，并且喝尽；然后把这杯摔成碎块，又抓伤自己的胸。因为这是我曾说过的。’这是主耶和华的宣告。

于是耶户击杀了亚哈家在耶斯列剩下的人，还有他所有的大臣、有关的人、祭司，没有一个给他存留。

我要以公平为准绳，以公义为线铊；冰雹必把谎言的遮蔽冲去，大水必漫过庇护所。”

看哪！我要打发人去征召北方的众族，和我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，领他们来攻击这地和这地的居民，以及周围的列国；我要把他们彻底消灭，使他们成为令人惊骇，受人嗤笑的对象，和永远荒废的地方。”这是耶和华的宣告。

因此，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家；我必剪除以色列中所有属于耶罗波安的男丁，无论是自由的或是不自由的；我必铲除耶罗波安的家，像人扫除粪土一样，直到完全除尽为止。

你要多加柴枝，点上火，混和香料，把肉煮烂，使骨头烧焦；然后把空锅放在炭火上，使锅烧热，使铜烧红，使其中的污秽熔化，使它的锈得以除净。

何细亚在位第九年，亚述王占领了撒玛利亚，把以色列人掳到亚述去，安置他们在哈腊，在哈博河和歌散河一带，以及在玛代人的各城。

有一位大力的天使，把一块好像大磨石一样的石头，举起来抛在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样被猛力地抛下去，决不能再找到了！弹琴、奏乐、吹笛、吹号的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！各样手艺技工，在你中间决不能再找到了！推磨的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！灯的亮光，在你中间决不能再照耀了！新郎新娘的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！你的商人一向都是地上的大人物，万国都因你的邪术受了迷惑。

因此，耶和华这样说：我要怀着怜悯的心回到耶路撒冷，我的殿必在城中重建（这是万军之耶和华的宣告）。绳子必拉在耶路撒冷之上。’

“我必使巴比伦被箭猪所占，又使它变为泥沼之地；我必用毁灭的扫帚把它扫净。”这是万军之耶和华说的。

耶和华说：‘看哪，我必使灾祸临到你，除灭你的后代，在以色列中属亚哈的男丁，无论是自由的，或是不自由的，我都要除灭。我要使你的家像尼八的儿子耶罗波安的家，又像亚希雅的儿子巴沙的家，因为你惹我发怒，又因为你使以色列人陷在罪中。’至于耶洗别，耶和华也说：‘狗必在耶斯列的地方吃耶洗别的肉。属亚哈的人，死在城里的，必被野狗吃掉；死在田野的，必被空中的飞鸟吃掉。’”
