以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差遣我往伯特利去，你可以留在这里。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人下到伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、耶和華遣我至伯特利、請爾待此、以利沙曰、我指維生之耶和華、及爾生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

以利亞告以利沙曰、耶和華使我往伯特利、汝可待此。以利沙曰、我指耶和華而誓、亦指爾生命以誓、我不離爾。乃偕往伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、主遣我往伯特利、爾且待此、以利沙曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here. The Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the LORD is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth- el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth- el.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said[ unto him, As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah told Elisha,“ Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差遣我往约旦河去，你可以留在这里。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人一同往前行。

孩子的母亲说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不离开你。”于是以利沙起身，随着她去了。

妇人说：“我主啊，请容许我说，我向你，我的主起誓，从前在你这里站着祈求耶和华的那妇人就是我。

以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差遣我往耶利哥去，你可以留在这里。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人到了耶利哥。

现在，我主啊，耶和华既然阻止你亲手报仇，避免流人的血，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，又指着你的性命起誓：‘现在，愿你的仇敌和谋害我主的人都像拿八一样。’

凭诚实、公平、公义指着永生的耶和华起誓；列国就必因他蒙福，也必因他夸耀。”

他给那地方起名叫伯特利；那地方原先名叫路斯。

拿娥米说：“看哪，你嫂嫂已经回她的百姓和她的神明那里去了，你也跟你嫂嫂回去吧！”路得说：“不要劝我离开你，转去不跟随你。你往哪里去，我也往哪里去；你在哪里住，我也在哪里住；你的百姓就是我的百姓；你的上帝就是我的上帝。你死在哪里，我也死在哪里，葬在哪里。只有死能使你我分离；不然，愿耶和华重重惩罚我！”拿娥米见路得决意要跟自己去，就不再对她说什么了。

他把一个安置在伯特利，另一个安置在但。

他在八月十五日，就是他自己心中所定的月份，在伯特利上到自己所造的祭坛；他为以色列人定了一个节期，亲自上坛烧香。看哪，有一个神人遵照耶和华的话从犹大来到伯特利。耶罗波安正站在坛旁烧香；神人遵照耶和华的话向坛呼叫，说：“坛哪，坛哪！耶和华如此说：‘看哪，大卫家必生一个儿子，名叫约西亚，他必将在你上面烧香的丘坛祭司，宰杀在你上面，人的骨头也必烧在你上面。’”

王对迦特人以太说：“你是外邦人，从你本地逃来的，为什么与我们同去呢？你回去留在新王那里吧！你昨天才到，我今日怎好叫你与我们一同流亡，而我却要到处飘流呢？回去吧，你带你的弟兄回去吧！愿主用慈爱信实待你。”以太回答王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：无论生死，王在哪里，你的仆人也必在哪里。”

耶稣就对那十二使徒说：“你们也要离开吗？”西门‧彼得回答他：“主啊，你有永生之道，我们还跟从谁呢？

扫罗看见大卫去迎战非利士人，就问押尼珥元帅说：“押尼珥，那年轻人是谁的儿子？”押尼珥说：“王啊，我在你面前起誓，我不知道。”

他们从我们中间出去，却不是属我们的，若是属我们的，就必仍旧与我们同在。他们出去，这就显明他们都不是属我们的。
