以利沙看见，就呼叫说：“我父啊！我父啊！以色列的战车马兵啊！”以后不再见他了。于是以利沙把自己的衣服撕为两片。

Elisha saw this and cried out,“ My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

Elisha saw it and cried out to Elijah,“ My father! You are like a father to me! You, Elijah, are the true chariots and horsemen of Israel!” Elisha didn’t see Elijah anymore. Then Elisha took hold of his own garment and tore it in two.

And Elisha saw it and he cried,“ My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

Elisha saw it and cried out,“ My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” And as they disappeared from sight, Elisha tore his clothes in distress.

As Elisha watched, he kept crying out,“ My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!” When he could see him no longer, he took hold of his own clothes, tore them in two,

以利沙得了必死的病，以色列王约阿施下来看他，伏在他脸上哭泣，说：“我父啊！我父啊！以色列的战车马兵啊！”

亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就打发人去见希西家，说：“耶和华以色列的神如此说，你既然求我攻击亚述王西拿基立，

除了从天降下、仍旧在天的人子，没有人升过天。

众天使离开他们，升天去了。牧羊的人彼此说：“我们往伯利恒去，看看所成的事，就是主所指示我们的。”

我们在这帐棚里叹息劳苦，并非愿意脱下这个，乃是愿意穿上那个，好叫这必死的被生命吞灭了。

主耶稣和他们说完了话，后来被接到天上，坐在神的右边。

正祝福的时候，他就离开他们，被带到天上去了。

所以经上说：“他升上高天的时候，掳掠了仇敌，将各样的恩赐赏给人。”

义人死亡，无人放在心上；虔诚人被收去，无人思念。这义人被收去是免了将来的祸患；他们得享平安。素行正直的，各人在坟里安歇。

谁升天又降下来？谁聚风在掌握中？谁包水在衣服里？谁立定地的四极？他名叫什么？他儿子名叫什么？你知道吗？

希西家向耶和华祷告说：

约伯便起来，撕裂外袍，剃了头，伏在地上下拜，说：“我赤身出于母胎，也必赤身归回；赏赐的是耶和华，收取的也是耶和华。耶和华的名是应当称颂的。”

有虔诚的人把司提反埋葬了，为他捶胸大哭。

说了这话，他们正看的时候，他就被取上升，有一朵云彩把他接去，便看不见他了。

我们在这帐棚里叹息，深想得那从天上来的房屋，好像穿上衣服；

两位先知听见有大声音从天上来，对他们说：“上到这里来。”他们就驾着云上了天，他们的仇敌也看见了。

城因正直人祝福便高举，却因邪恶人的口就倾覆。

或者耶和华你的神听见拉伯沙基的话，就是他主人亚述王打发他来辱骂永生神的话；耶和华你的神听见这话就发斥责。故此，求你为余剩的民扬声祷告。’”

人非无辜，神且要搭救他；他因你手中清洁，必蒙拯救。”

我就说，智慧胜过勇力；然而那贫穷人的智慧被人藐视，他的话也无人听从。宁可在安静之中听智慧人的言语，不听掌管愚昧人的喊声。智慧胜过打仗的兵器；但一个罪人能败坏许多善事。

智慧使有智慧的人比城中十个官长更有能力。

‘保罗，不要害怕，你必定站在凯撒面前，并且与你同船的人，神都赐给你了。’
