Isaiah said to them,“ Tell your master,‘ This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid of what you have heard— those words with which the underlings of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Then Isaiah said to them,“ Tell your master,‘ The Lord says,“ Do not be afraid of what you have heard. The officers of the king of Assyria have spoken evil things against me.

列國之諸神中、有誰救其國脫於我手、獨主能救耶路撒冷脫於我手乎、

亞述王遣他坦、拉伯撒利、拉伯沙基、統率大軍、自拉吉往耶路撒冷攻希西家王、既至耶路撒冷、立於上池之引水溝旁、此上池在漂工漂工或作濯衣田之道側、

以色列人聽之哉、爾今日攻敵、臨戰毋怯心、毋畏懼、毋驚恐、毋因敵而戰慄、因主爾之天主與爾偕往、為爾攻敵以拯救爾、以拯救爾或作使爾獲勝

摩西謂民曰、毋懼、可立而待、以觀主向爾今日所施之救、爾今日見伊及人、後必永不復見之、

悅義而心存我法之人、當聽我言、毋畏人之譏誚、毋因人之毀謗而喪膽、

爾出與敵戰、見車馬軍卒、較爾眾多、則毋畏懼、因主爾之天主、昔導爾出伊及者必祐爾、

主諭約書亞曰、勿因之而懼、明日此時、我將斯眾付於以色列人、俱為其所殺、爾當傷其馬之足、以火焚其車輛、

曰、勿懼、助我者較助彼者眾、

抗逆主之仇敵、時常喧譁、聲聞於上、求主莫忘、

勿聽希西家使爾恃主之言、彼曰、主必救我、此城不至陷於亞述王手、

敵人謗瀆主、頑民褻慢主名、求主莫忘、

曰、猶大人眾、耶路撒冷居民、約沙法王、爾其聽之、主告爾如是云、勿因此群眾畏葸恐懼、蓋與敵戰者非爾、乃天主也、

猶大人、與耶路撒冷民歟、無庸與戰、勿畏葸、勿恐懼、可立而待、必見主之救援、明日可出迎敵、主必祐爾、

爾中五人逐敵一百、百人逐敵一萬、敵人必殞於刃在爾前、

爾曹或告我曰、我儕恃主我之天主、乃希西家曾廢其邱壇與祭臺、命猶大人及耶路撒冷居民曰、但當在耶路撒冷在此祭臺前崇拜、今爾與我主亞述王和好、則我予爾馬二千、爾能有馬卒乘之乎、既不能、何能禦我主王之臣僕中至微之武士長乎、爾恃伊及、望得戰車馬卒乎、亦徒然也、今我來攻此城城原文作處而毀之、非無主之旨、主命我來攻此國而滅之、

獸啟口謗讟天主、謗讟天主之名、與其殿、及凡居於天者、

主曰、慰藉爾者惟我、惟我、爾為誰、竟懼必死之人、畏彼似草萊之世人、世人或作亞當之子乃忘張天奠地造爾之主、強暴之人、預備殺戮之時、爾終日戰慄、畏其烈怒、究之強暴人之烈怒、果安在乎、

毋畏葸、我必祐爾、勿膽怯、我乃爾之天主、必堅強爾、濟助爾、我必以施救之右手扶持爾、怒爾者、必抱愧蒙羞、敵爾者、必皆滅亡、歸於無有、與爾戰者、爾尋之不見、攻爾者、必歸於無有、成為虛無、蓋我即主爾之天主、援爾右手、謂爾曰、勿恐懼、我救濟爾、主云、爾如蚯蚓之雅各、爾曹以色列人乎、勿畏懼、我救濟爾、贖爾者、乃以色列之聖主、
