當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、曾言耶路撒冷必不陷於亞述王、勿為所誘。

約西亞循摩西律例、一心一志、盡其能力、歸於耶和華、自昔迄今、至於後世、未有王若是之善也。

彼恃上帝、若上帝悅之、今必見拯、蓋彼曰、我乃上帝子也、

使我儕首賴基督者、頌讚之也、

以我為恃者、望我拯救、綏祉繁多、譬彼林木、植於溪旁、根延河畔、雖經炎熱、雖歷亢陽、不受其害、枝葉青蒼、結果不息。

禱曰、居𠼻𡀔咏間、以色列族之上帝耶和華、既造天地、則在天下列國中、爾獨為上帝、西拿基立遣使侮永生上帝、請耶和華鑒之聽之。亞述列王、滅列國、戮人民、誠有此事、其上帝非上帝、乃木石偶像、人手所作者、故亞述王擲而燬於火、今禱我上帝耶和華、救我脫於其手、使天下列國咸知、耶和華獨為上帝。

余賴爾矜憫、喜爾拯救兮、

耶和華兮、賜予光明福祉、余何慮兮、扞衛我躬、予何懼兮、作惡者流、為予仇敵、欲噬我肉、今蹶其趾、淪胥以亡兮、

凡賴雅各之上帝耶和華、蒙厥眷祐者、福祉孔多兮。天地滄海、凡百庶物、咸其所造、言出惟行、永世不忘兮、

是時先見者哈拿尼、覲猶大王亞撒、告之曰、因爾恃亞蘭王、不爾上帝耶和華是賴、故不克亞蘭軍。古實人、路庇人、軍勢浩大、車騎眾多、因爾恃耶和華、故耶和華使爾戰勝之。耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

雖上帝戮及我身、使我失望、亦必毅然自辨、以白我冤。

夙興往提哥亞之野、將行約沙法立而告之曰、猶大族耶路撒冷民、宜聽我言、當信爾之上帝耶和華、自可獲勝、信其先知、自得亨通。

強乃志、壯乃心、亞述王率軍旅以來、毋懼、蓋助我者、較助彼者眾、助彼者人之股肱、助我戰者上帝耶和華也、民信猶大王希西家言。○

我逢患難、上帝範衛我、扶翼我兮、平陸震動、海島遷移、波濤洶湧、山嶽搖撼、我弗迷兮、

以色列王亞哈謝不道、猶大王約沙法與之要約、

萬有之主耶和華兮、惟爾是侍者、福祉永綏兮。

籲上帝耶和華曰、爾欲援我、民之多寡、力之強弱、無不可以之克敵、我之上帝耶和華歟、求爾助我、蓋我賴爾名、禦斯有眾、願上帝耶和華、毋許人勝爾。
