王不順民、乃出乎天主、以應主藉示羅人亞希雅告尼八子耶羅波安之言、以色列民眾見王不聽其言、則告王曰、我儕與大衛何與、何與原文作有何分與耶西子無涉、以色列人歟、各歸己家、家原文作幕下同大衛家歟、爾自顧之、原文作大衛歟爾自顧爾家於是以色列人各歸己家、惟居猶大諸邑之以色列人、羅波安仍為其王、羅波安王遣理貢稅之哈多蘭、至以色列人前、以色列人以石擊之死、羅波安王迅速登車、遁於耶路撒冷、如是、以色列人叛大衛家、至於今日、

耶羅波安擅立祭司、在諸邱壇奉事鬼魅、及所製之犢像、

求主為主之名、赦免我重大之罪愆、

自大衛家奪國、以賜於爾、我僕大衛守我誡命、盡心從我、行善於我前、爾不效之、

主必使降災之日、臨爾與爾民及爾父家、自以法蓮叛猶大以來、未有若是之日、即使亞述王至而攻爾、

如是、二少者之罪、在主前甚重、蓋輕褻獻主之祭、或成蓋使人輕褻獻主之祭○

如是以色列人叛大衛家、至於今日、以色列民眾聞耶羅波安已返、遣人招至會眾前、遂立之為以色列眾之王、惟猶大一支派從大衛家、

耶穌曰、非自上賜爾、則爾無權治我、故解我於爾者、其罪更大、

羅波安守斯鞏固之城、置將士於其中、儲備食物與油與酒、

亞比米勒召亞伯拉罕曰、爾向我何為、我何嘗獲罪於爾、爾竟以我與我國、陷於重罪、爾向我為所不可為之事、

摩西謂亞倫曰、斯民於爾何為、竟使之陷於重罪、

我子不可如此、我所風聞者非善、爾使主之民陷於罪、我所風聞者非善爾使主之民陷於罪或作我所風聞主之民所播揚者非善
