橫逆與卜筮之罪無異、抗戾與拜偶之咎相同。不聽耶和華命、故耶和華使爾國祚不永。

曰、上帝豈拒厥民乎、曰、非也、我乃以色列人、亞伯拉罕裔、便雅憫支派、上帝所預知之民、不拒之、豈不知經載以利亞龥上帝、訟以色列人云、

爾曹乃以色列之苗裔、雅各之子孫、俱為其僕、彼所遴選。

故爾使之困於敵國、遭難之時、彼呼籲爾、爾自天俯聽、矜憫靡涯、累賜扶危之士、不為敵所害。既釋之後、彼復行惡於爾前、爾假手於敵、使敵人統轄之、民仍籲爾、爾自天垂聽、體恤倍至、屢加援手。

亦爾之上帝耶和華垂顧斯土、自年始及年終、鑒觀不輟。

其必受刑永苦、被逐於主前、不得覲其耿光、
