He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.

（只是從來沒有像亞哈的，因他受耶洗別王后的唆使，出賣自己，行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事。他行了最可憎的事，隨從偶像，正如耶和華在以色列人面前趕出的亞摩利人所行的一切。）

你竟把我的兒女殺了，使他們經火獻給它們！

並在欣嫩子谷使他的兒子經火，又觀星象，行法術，行邪術，求問招魂的和行巫術的，多行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒。

你不只效法她們的行為，照她們可憎的事去做，不消多時，你所做的一切就比她們更惡。

卻行以色列諸王的道，又鑄造諸巴力的像，照着耶和華從以色列人面前趕出的外邦人所行可憎的事，在欣嫩子谷燒香，用火焚燒他的兒女，又在丘壇上、山岡上、各青翠樹下獻祭燒香。

亞哈謝也行亞哈家的道，因為他母親給他主謀，使他行惡。

他們使所有頭生的經火，我就任憑他們在這供物上玷污自己；我令他們驚恐，他們就知道我是耶和華。

反倒與列國相交，學習他們的行為，

他又玷污欣嫩子谷的陀斐特，不許人在那裏使兒女經火獻給摩洛。

他犯了尼八的兒子耶羅波安所犯的罪，還當作是小事，又娶了西頓王謁巴力的女兒耶洗別為妻，去事奉巴力，敬拜它，又在撒瑪利亞建巴力廟，在廟裏為巴力築壇。亞哈又造亞舍拉，他所做的惹耶和華－以色列的神發怒，比他以前所有的以色列王更嚴重。

他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，行他父母的道，又行尼八的兒子耶羅波安的道，使以色列陷入罪裏。他事奉巴力，敬拜它，惹耶和華－以色列的神發怒，正如他父親一切所行的。

他們在欣嫩子谷建造巴力的丘壇，把自己的兒女經火獻給摩洛；他們行這可憎的事，使猶大陷在罪裏，這並不是我吩咐的，我心裏也從來沒有想過。」

耶羅波安王就籌劃，鑄造了兩個金牛犢，對眾百姓說：「你們上耶路撒冷去實在夠久了。以色列啊，看哪，這是領你出埃及地的神明。」他把一個安置在伯特利，另一個安置在但。這事使百姓陷入罪裏，因為他們甚至到但去拜那牛犢。

「你要對以色列人說：凡以色列人，或是寄居在以色列的外人，把自己兒女獻給摩洛的，必被處死；本地的百姓要用石頭打死他。

當你們獻上供物，使你們兒子經火的時候，你們仍用各樣的偶像玷污自己，直到今日。以色列家啊，我豈能讓你們求問呢？主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不讓你們求問。
