Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid. He placed it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the temple of the Lord. The priests who guarded the entrance put into the chest all the money that was brought to the temple of the Lord.

Jehoiada the priest got a chest. He drilled a hole in its lid. He placed the chest beside the altar for burnt offerings. The chest was on the right side as people enter the Lord’ s temple. Some priests guarded the entrance. They put into the chest all the money the people brought to the temple.

Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in the lid of it and set it beside the altar on the right side as one entered the house of the Lord. And the priests who guarded the threshold put in it all the money that was brought into the house of the Lord.

Then Jehoiada the priest bored a hole in the lid of a large chest and set it on the right hand side of the altar at the entrance of the Temple of the Lord. The priests guarding the entrance put all of the people’s contributions into the chest.

耶穌對着奉獻櫃而坐着，看羣眾怎樣投錢入櫃，有許多有錢的投着許多。

在你的院子一日，勝過在別處一千日，寧可在我上帝之殿的門檻上站着，也不願在邪惡之公館住一代。

耶穌望上看，看見有錢的把他們的禮物投在奉獻櫃裏。

都領到永恆主的殿，進入神人伊基大利的兒子哈難眾兒子的廂房，就是在首領的廂房旁邊，首領的廂房是在沙龍的兒子把守門檻者瑪西雅的廂房以上。

護衛長拿住祭司長西萊雅、副祭司西番亞、和三個把守門檻的；

王吩咐大祭司希勒家和副祭司跟把守門檻的、將那為巴力和亞舍拉女神跟天上萬象所造的器皿、都從永恆主殿堂裏搬出來，在耶路撒冷外頭汲淪谿谷的田園裏燒了，把灰燼拿到伯特利去。

同他們在一起的還有他們族弟兄做第二班：撒迦利雅、巴尼、烏薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、跟守門的俄別以東和耶利。

祭司示巴尼、約沙法、拿坦業、亞瑪賽、撒迦利雅、比拿亞、以利以謝要在上帝的櫃前吹號筒。俄別以東和耶希亞也要給約櫃做守門的。

『你上去見大祭司希勒家，叫他將人所奉到永恆主之殿的銀子、就是把守門檻的人從人民中收集的銀子、總算一算，

於是王吩咐一聲，人就作了一個櫃，放在永恆主的殿門外。王又在猶大和耶路撒冷發出布告，叫人將上帝僕人摩西在曠野吩咐以色列人徵獻的捐項帶來、奉給永恆主。眾首領和眾民都歡歡喜喜地帶來，投在櫃中，直到滿滿。負責人每逢把櫃子抬到王的辦公室由利未人經手檢點，他們若見銀子多了，王的祕書和祭司長的委員、總來，將櫃倒光，整理整理，放回原處：天天都這樣作，收集了銀子很多。王和耶何耶大將銀子交給永恆主殿裏辦事的人，辦事人就雇了鑿石人和匠人來重新修造永恆主的殿，也雇了鐵匠銅匠來修理永恆主的殿。作工的人一直地作工，修復的工作在他們手下順序地進行；他們將上帝的殿重立其舊觀，並使它很堅固。既作完了，他們就把剩下的銀子送到王和耶何耶大面前；銀子就用來製造永恆主殿裏的器皿、供奉和獻祭的器皿、碟子、金銀的器皿。儘耶何耶大在世的日子、眾人都不斷在永恆主殿裏獻上燔祭。
