Jehu said,“ Come with me and see how zealous I am for the LORD’s cause.” So he took him along in his chariot.

耶户说：“你和我同去，看我为耶和华怎样热心”；于是请他坐在车上，

耶户说：“你和我一起去，看看我对耶和华的热诚。”于是用自己的战车载他同去。

耶戶說：「你和我同去，看我為耶和華怎樣熱心」；於是請他坐在車上，

說：「跟我來，看我怎樣熱心為耶和華工作。」於是耶戶讓他坐在車上。

耶戶說：“你和我一起去，看看我對耶和華的熱誠。”於是用自己的戰車載他同去。

耶戶說：『你跟我一同去，看我為永恆主怎樣發妒愛熱情。』就請他同他坐車。

曰、與我偕往、視我為耶和華之熱中、乃使之乘車、

曰、爾與我偕、見我為耶和華熱中。於是二人同車。

耶戶曰、爾與我偕往、可見我為主如何熱中、於是使其乘車偕往、

Jehu said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” Then he had him ride along in his chariot.

Jehu said,“ Come along with me. See how committed I am to serve the Lord.” Jehu had Jehonadab ride along in his chariot.

And he said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

Then Jehu said,“ Now come with me, and see how devoted I am to the Lord.” So Jehonadab rode along with him.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD!” So he let him ride with him in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So they had him ride in his chariot.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for Jehovah. So they made him ride in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord!” So he let him ride with him in his chariot.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.

He said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for Yahweh.” So they made him ride in his chariot.

He answered,“ I have been absolutely loyal to the LORD, the sovereign God, even though the Israelites have abandoned the agreement they made with you, torn down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I alone am left and now they want to take my life.”

But Jehu did not carefully and wholeheartedly obey the law of the LORD God of Israel. He did not repudiate the sins which Jeroboam had encouraged Israel to commit.

‘ If Balak would give me his palace full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD to do either good or evil of my own will, but whatever the LORD tells me I must speak’?And now, I am about to go back to my own people. Come now, and I will advise you as to what this people will do to your people in the future.”Then he uttered this oracle:“ The oracle of Balaam son of Beor; the oracle of the man whose eyes are open;the oracle of the one who hears the words of God, and who knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees a vision from the Almighty, although falling flat on the ground with eyes open:

He answered,“ I have been absolutely loyal to the LORD, the sovereign God, even though the Israelites have abandoned the agreement they made with you, torn down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I alone am left and now they want to take my life.”

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips.

You will destroy the family of your master Ahab. I will get revenge against Jezebel for the shed blood of my servants the prophets and for the shed blood of all the LORD’s servants.Ahab’s entire family will die. I will cut off every last male belonging to Ahab in Israel, including even the weak and incapacitated.I will make Ahab’s dynasty like those of Jeroboam son of Nebat and Baasha son of Ahijah.

For I can testify that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not in line with the truth.

Thus whenever you do charitable giving, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in synagogues and on streets so that people will praise them. I tell you the truth, they have their reward.

Jehu will kill anyone who escapes Hazael’s sword, and Elisha will kill anyone who escapes Jehu’s sword.

“ Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward.

They come to you in crowds, and they sit in front of you as my people. They hear your words, but do not obey them. For they talk lustfully, and their heart is set on their own advantage.

Then God met Balaam, who said to him,“ I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”
