“ Take them alive!” he ordered. So they took them alive and slaughtered them by the well of Beth Eked— forty- two of them. He left no survivor.

“ Take them alive!” Jehu ordered. So his men took them alive. Then they killed them by the well of Beth Eked. They killed a total of 42 of them. Jehu didn’t leave anyone alive.

He said,“ Take them alive.” And they took them alive and slaughtered them at the pit of Beth-eked, forty-two persons, and he spared none of them.

“ Take them alive!” Jehu shouted to his men. And they captured all forty two of them and killed them at the well of Beth eked. None of them escaped.

於是耶戶寫第二封信給他們說：“如果你們是歸從我，聽我的話的，就要把你們主人的兒子們的頭顱取下，明天大約這個時候，帶來耶斯列給我。”那時，王的七十個兒子是住在撫養他們的城中的大臣那裡。

亞哈謝的母親亞他利雅見自己的兒子死了，就起來殺盡猶大家中所有王族的後裔。

便．哈達說：“如果他們是為了求和出來，你們要活捉他們；如果他們是為了爭戰出來，你們也要活捉他們。”

亞哈謝的母親亞他利雅看見自己的兒子死了，就起來消滅王室所有的後裔。

耶戶討伐亞哈家的罪的時候，遇見了猶大的眾領袖和亞哈謝的兄弟的兒子，他們都是侍候亞哈謝的，耶戶把他們都殺了。

他照著以色列諸王的道路而行，好像亞哈家所行的；因為他娶了亞哈的女兒為妻，並且行耶和華看為惡的事。

你們要知道耶和華的話，就是耶和華所說攻擊亞哈家的話，一句也沒有落空；耶和華藉著他的僕人以利亞所說的話，他都作成了。”於是耶戶擊殺了亞哈家在耶斯列剩下的人，還有他所有的大臣、有關的人、祭司，沒有一個給他存留。
