Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him,“ Man of God, the king says,‘ Come down!’”

Then Ahaziah sent a captain to Elijah. The captain had his group of 50 fighting men with him. Elijah was sitting on top of a hill. The captain went up to him. He said to Elijah,“ Man of God, the king says,‘ Come down!’ ”

Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty men with his fifty. He went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him,“ O man of God, the king says,‘ Come down.’”

Then he sent an army captain with fifty soldiers to arrest him. They found him sitting on top of a hill. The captain said to him,“ Man of God, the king has commanded you to come down with us.”

So King Ahaziah sent a captain with his fifty men to Elijah. When the captain went up to him, he was sitting on top of the hill. He announced,“ Man of God, the king declares,‘ Come down!’”

The king sent a captain and his fifty soldiers to retrieve Elijah. The captain went up to him, while he was sitting on the top of a hill. He told him,“ Prophet, the king says,‘ Come down!’”

于是王说：“你们去看看他在哪里，我要派人把他捉住。”有人告诉他说：“看哪！他正在多坍。”他就差派车马和一大队军兵往那里去，他们在夜间抵达，围困那城。

亚玛谢对阿摩司说：“你这个先见，走吧！滚回犹大地去；在那里你可以找食，在那里你可以说预言。

过路的人讥笑他，摇着头说：“哼，你这个要拆毁圣所，三日之内又把它建造起来的，

以色列王对约沙法说：“还有一个人，我们可以托他求问耶和华。不过我憎恨他，因为他对我说的预言，都是凶话，不是吉话。这人就是音拉的儿子米该雅。”但约沙法说：“请王不要这么说。”

耶洗别除灭耶和华众先知的时候，俄巴底带走了一百个先知，每五十个人一组，分散藏在山洞里，又用饼和水供养他们。

又有些人遭受了戏弄、鞭打，甚至捆锁、监禁；

以色列的王基督啊，现在可以从十字架上下来，让我们看见就信吧。”那和他同钉十字架的人也侮辱他。

“基督啊，向我们说预言吧！是谁打你呢？”

以色列王说：“把米该雅带回去，交给市长亚们和王的儿子约阿施，说：‘王这样吩咐：把这人囚在监里，少给他食物和水，直到我平平安安回来。’”

他们却大怒，彼此商议怎样对付耶稣。在那些日子，有一次耶稣出去到山上祷告，整夜祷告神。

祭司长、经学家和长老也同样讥笑他，说：“他救了别人，却不能救自己。如果他是以色列的王，现在可以从十字架上下来，我们就信他。他信靠神；如果神喜悦他，就让神现在救他吧，因为他说自己是神的儿子。”

耶洗别就差派一个使者去见以利亚说：“明天这个时候，如果我不使你的性命，像那些人一样，愿神明惩罚我，并且加倍惩罚我。”

又用荆棘编成冠冕，戴在他的头上，把一根芦苇放在他的右手，跪在他面前讥笑他说：“犹太人的王万岁！”

原来希律为了他弟弟腓力的妻子希罗底的缘故，拘捕了约翰，把他捆绑，关在监里，

亚哈就上去吃喝。以利亚上了迦密山顶，屈身在地，把脸放在两膝之间。

我指着永活的耶和华你的神起誓，没有一邦一国我主人不派人去找你的，人们若是说你不在那里，他就要那国邦起誓说实在找不到你。
