begging us with great earnestness for the blessing and fellowship of helping the saints.

他們懇切地求我們准許他們與有需要的聖徒分享上帝的恩典。

再三懇求我們，准許他們在供應聖徒的事上有分。

以再三再四的懇請求我們、讓他們將恩惠和團契捐去供應聖徒的需要。

用許多乞求的話，懇請我們在對聖徒的服事上給與他們恩准和分享的機會；

懇求我儕、俾與於供事聖徒之恩、

殷勤求我、納其所捐者、即施濟聖徒之金、

彼殷勤求我與之共事、納其所捐之貲、以濟聖徒、

彼等且再三懇求吾儕、准其同享賑濟聖徒之特恩；

they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people.

they begged us for the chance to share in serving the Lord’s people in that way.

begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints—

They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem.

they begged us earnestly for the privilege of sharing in the ministry to the saints,

begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,

imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

beseeching us with much entreaty in regard of this grace and the fellowship in the ministering to the saints:

they begged us insistently for the privilege of sharing in the ministry to the saints,

Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and[ take upon us] the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.

After several years I came to bring to my people gifts for the poor and to present offerings,

Then, when I arrive, I will send those whom you approve with letters of explanation to carry your gift to Jerusalem.And if it seems advisable that I should go also, they will go with me.

For it is not necessary for me to write you about this service to the saints,

But now I go to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.For Macedonia and Achaia are pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

For you will always have the poor with you, and you can do good for them whenever you want. But you will not always have me!

He and his entire entourage returned to the prophet. Naaman came and stood before him. He said,“ For sure I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now, please accept a gift from your servant.”But Elisha replied,“ As certainly as the LORD lives( whom I serve), I will take nothing from you.” Naaman insisted that he take it, but he refused.

Now in those days, when the disciples were growing in number, a complaint arose on the part of the Greek- speaking Jews against the native Hebraic Jews, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food.So the twelve called the whole group of the disciples together and said,“ It is not right for us to neglect the word of God to wait on tables.But carefully select from among you, brothers, seven men who are well- attested, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this necessary task.But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”The proposal pleased the entire group, so they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, with Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a Gentile convert to Judaism from Antioch.They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed and placed their hands on them.The word of God continued to spread, the number of disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly, and a large group of priests became obedient to the faith.

They requested only that we remember the poor, the very thing I also was eager to do.

Now, brothers and sisters, you know about the household of Stephanus, that as the first converts of Achaia, they devoted themselves to ministry for the saints. I urge you

And the king will answer them,‘ I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.’

So Peter got up and went with them, and when he arrived they brought him to the upper room. All the widows stood beside him, crying and showing him the tunics and other clothing Dorcas used to make while she was with them.But Peter sent them all outside, knelt down, and prayed. Turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.He gave her his hand and helped her get up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her alive.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

“ No, please take them,” Jacob said.“ If I have found favor in your sight, accept my gift from my hand. Now that I have seen your face and you have accepted me, it is as if I have seen the face of God.Please take my present that was brought to you, for God has been generous to me and I have all I need.” When Jacob urged him, he took it.

Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?’Then he will answer them,‘ I tell you the truth, just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.’

because I hear of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.I pray that the faith you share with us may deepen your understanding of every blessing that belongs to you in Christ.

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.

and has a reputation for good works: as one who has raised children, practiced hospitality, washed the feet of the saints, helped those in distress– as one who has exhibited all kinds of good works.

because the service of this ministry is not only providing for the needs of the saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God.Through the evidence of this service they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing with them and with everyone.And in their prayers on your behalf they long for you because of the extraordinary grace God has shown to you.

So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith.

Pray that I may be rescued from those who are disobedient in Judea and that my ministry in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,

And we are sending along with him the brother who is praised by all the churches for his work in spreading the gospel.In addition, this brother has also been chosen by the churches as our traveling companion as we administer this generous gift to the glory of the Lord himself and to show our readiness to help.

So the disciples, each in accordance with his financial ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.

And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, I tell you the truth, he will never lose his reward.”

So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother,“ Woman, look, here is your son!”He then said to his disciple,“ Look, here is your mother!” From that very time the disciple took her into his own home.

With regard to the collection for the saints, please follow the directions that I gave to the churches of Galatia:

After she and her household were baptized, she urged us,“ If you consider me to be a believer in the Lord, come and stay in my house.” And she persuaded us.
