Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;

But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true wealth to you?And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?

Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

You also became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word during great affliction with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.

but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.

“ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: did God not choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better and lasting possession.

In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which perishes though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Now if their wrongdoing proves to be riches for the world, and their failure, riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be!

for this reason, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and affliction we were comforted about you through your faith;for now we really live, if you stand firm in the Lord.For what thanks can we give to God for you in return for all the joy with which we rejoice because of you before our God,as we keep praying most earnestly night and day that we may see your faces, and may complete what is lacking in your faith?

Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials,knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

But Peter said,“ I do not have silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!”

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears; not so that you would be made sorrowful, but that you might know the love which I have especially for you.

So then, no one is to be boasting in people. For all things belong to you,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.

Rejoice always,

that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart.

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self,

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am supplementing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions in behalf of His body, which is the church.

For all things are for your sakes, so that grace, having spread to more and more people, will cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;

that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge,

To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

I do not speak to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.My confidence in you is great; my boasting in your behalf is great. I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction.For even when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side: conflicts on the outside, fears inside.But God, who comforts the discouraged, comforted us by the arrival of Titus;and not only by his arrival, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted among you, as he reported to us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced even more.For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it— for I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while—I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us.For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

The one who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.
