Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

今而後我儕不以貌識人、雖曾以貌識基督、今不復如此識之、

此後吾不以貌視人、雖曾以貌視基督、今不復如此視之、

故此後我不以外貌認人、雖曾以外貌認基督、今後不復如此認之、

是故自今而後、吾人不復以俗眼視人矣；雖亦曾以俗眼視基督、今則不復然矣。

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.

So from now on we don’t look at anyone the way the world does. At one time we looked at Christ in that way. But we don’t anymore.

From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.

So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now!

From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective. Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective, yet now we no longer know him in this way.

Therefore from now on we recognize no one by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

From now on, then, we do not know anyone in a purely human way. Even if we have known Christ in a purely human way, yet now we no longer know Him in this way.

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we[ him] no more.

So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.

However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

where there can’t be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, or free person; but Christ is all, and in all.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality.For if a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, comes into your synagogue, and a poor man in filthy clothing also comes in,and you pay special attention to him who wears the fine clothing and say,“ Sit here in a good place;” and you tell the poor man,“ Stand there,” or“ Sit by my footstool”haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him,“ Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you.”He answered them,“ Who are my mother and my brothers?”Looking around at those who sat around him, he said,“ Behold, my mother and my brothers!For whoever does the will of God is my brother, my sister, and mother.”

He said of his father, and of his mother,‘ I have not seen him.’ He didn’t acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.

Why do you kick at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation, and honor your sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel my people?’

I command you in the sight of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.Lay hands hastily on no one. Don’t be a participant in other people’s sins. Keep yourself pure.

to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the Good News might continue with you.But from those who were reputed to be important— whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn’t show partiality to man— they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,

But he answered him who spoke to him,“ Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?”He stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said,“ Behold, my mother and my brothers!For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will also boast.

Jesus said to her,“ Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.”
