我們知道我們這地上的帳篷式房屋若拆毁了，我們就可以從上帝得到建築物，非人手造的、永世的在天上的房屋。

吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

親愛的，我們現今是上帝的兒女；將來怎樣，還未顯明；我們只知道他無論甚麼時候顯現，我們總會像他，因為我們必見他，照他的真樣子。

至於我呢、我知道贖回我的永活着，末後他必起來、立在塵世之上；我的皮肉這樣被毁了之後、我還要從我肉身之外瞻仰上帝。

我以為儘我還在這帳幕的時候，以提醒來激發你們、是正當的。因為知道我這帳幕脫卸的時候快到了，正如我們主耶穌基督所指示我的。

但我們有這寶貝在瓦器裏，是要顯明這能力之無量高超是屬於上帝，不是出於我們。

但基督來到了、做一位已實現的美事之大祭司、卻通過那較大較完全的帳幕、不是人手造的、就是說、不屬於這被創造之世的、進入天上的聖所，

因為基督並不是進了人手造的聖所、真聖所的模型、乃是進了上天本境，如今替我們顯在上帝面前的。

但不是屬靈的在先，乃是屬血氣的在先，以後才有屬靈的。頭一個人出於地，是屬土的；第二個人是出於天的。那屬土的怎樣，凡屬土的也怎樣；那屬天的怎麼樣，凡屬天的也怎樣。

何況那住在土房、根基在塵世裏、比蛀蟲易被壓碎的人呢？

我們在這帳篷裏的人呻吟歎息，背負重擔，並非意願脫下，乃是願意多穿上一件，好叫這能死的給生命所吞滅。

來得個不能朽壞、不能染污、不能衰殘、為你們保留在天上的基業，

在我父家裏、有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了；因為我去，原是要為你們豫備地方去的。我若去為你們豫備地方，就必再來接你們歸於我，叫我在哪裏，你們也在哪裏。

你必汗流滿面、才得喫食，直到你歸了土，因為你是由土取出來的：你本是塵土，仍要歸於塵土。』

這一切既都要這樣消毁，你們就該做甚麼樣的人，該怎樣以聖別的品行和虔敬

在他裏面你們也藉着非人手行的割禮、由脫掉屬肉之身體的割禮、基督式的割禮、而受了割禮。

『我們曾聽見他說，「我要拆毁這人手造的殿堂，三日之間要建造另一座不是人手造的。」』

因為他期待着那有根基的城，就是上帝做其設計者和建造者的。

我們是上帝之同工，你們乃是上帝之耕地、上帝之建築物。

把我提於風中，使我駕風而行，使我消滅於風暴怒號中。

這樣、當我呼求的日子、我的仇敵就必轉身退後：這是我所知道的，因為上帝在為我。

就是因這緣故、我才受這些苦的。然而我不以為恥；因為我認識我所信的，也深信他有能力可保守我所受的託付、直到那日。
