我們原不是顧念着所看得見的，乃是顧念着所看不見的；因為所看得見的是暫時的，所看不見的乃是永世的。

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

So we don’t spend all our time looking at what we can see. Instead, we look at what we can’t see. That’s because what can be seen lasts only a short time. But what can’t be seen will last forever.

as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

信就是對所盼望的事物有把握，對沒有看見的事物能確斷。

這些人都是存着信心而死，沒有領受所應許的，乃是遠遠望見而致敬，承認自己在地上是旅客是寄居的。

因為世界上的事物、肉體的私慾、眼目的私慾、和人生的矜誇、都不是出於父，而是出於世界。並且世界和世界的私慾、是正在過去；惟獨實行上帝旨意的、永遠長存。

這就是他所應承給我們的應許：那真而永的生命。

寧可選擇跟上帝的子民同受虐待，也不願意有罪惡中暫時的享受。因為他看被膏者所要受的辱罵、比埃及的寶藏為更大的財富：他轉臉注視着那賞報。因着信、他離棄了埃及，不怕王的暴怒；因為他堅心持守，如同看見了人目所不能見的。

轉臉注視着信仰上的開創者和完成者耶穌：他為了那擺在他前頭的喜樂，就堅忍着十字架，輕看羞辱，如今已在上帝的右邊坐着呢。他堅忍着罪人這樣地頂撞他，你們要跟他比比，免得你們心灰意冷。

這些人必往永世的刑罰裏去；那些義人呢、必往永世的生命裏去。」』

願我們的主耶穌基督、他和我們的父上帝、就是那愛了我們、用恩惠將永遠的鼓勵和美好的盼望賜給我們的、

解罪祭牲的脂肪、他要燻在祭壇上。那放公山羊歸阿撒瀉勒的人要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗身，然後進營。
