蓋目前所受之區區苦痛、所以為吾人作成無量之榮福也。

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Our troubles are small. They last only for a short time. But they are earning for us a glory that will last forever. It is greater than all our troubles.

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.

For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:

Are they ministers of Christ?( I speak as one beside himself) I more; in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in deaths oft.Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day have I been in the deep;in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my countrymen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.Besides those things that are without, there is that which presseth upon me daily, anxiety for all the churches.

to them that by patience in well- doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life:

Now unto him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy,

After these things the word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you.

For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life- time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I may learn thy statutes.

save that the Holy Spirit testifieth unto me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

Before I was afflicted I went astray; But now I observe thy word.

For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen a God besides thee, who worketh for him that waiteth for him.

Oh how great is thy goodness, Which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, Which thou hast wrought for them that take refuge in thee, Before the sons of men!

For I know that this shall turn out to my salvation, through your supplication and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy: for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for in the same manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,

so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure;
