爾等明明為基督之書札、而吾儕供書記之役焉。此書也、非以楮墨寫成、乃以永生天主之聖神；非鐫於碑石、而鐫於人心者也。

以清水灑爾、使爾為潔、滌爾諸污、除爾所有之偶像、以新心賜爾、以新神賦於爾衷、去爾石心、錫以肉心、以我神賦於爾衷、使爾循我典章、守我律例、而遵行之、

雖稱神者不一、或在天、或在地、如有多神多主、而我儕有一上帝、天父是也、萬物本之、我儕歸之、且有一主、耶穌基督是也、萬物由之、我儕亦由之、然人不皆有此知識、至今有習於偶像者、而食若為祭物然、其良心尚弱、故見浼焉、非所食者、使我悅於上帝、不食無損、食亦無益、惟宜慎之、恐爾之自由、為弱者之躓礙也、或見爾有知識者、席坐偶像之廟、彼良心尚弱、豈不果於食祭像之物乎、

大衛謂旁立之人曰、有人殺此非利士人、洒以色列人之辱、將如何待之、此未受割之非利士人為誰、而可侮維生上帝之軍乎、

當書達士每拿會之使者云、為始為終、既死而生者曰、

當書達撒狄會之使者云、有上帝之七神、及七星者、曰、我知爾諸行、名生而實死、

我今降詔、諭我全國人民、當於但以理之上帝前、戰慄畏懼、彼乃維生永存之上帝、其國永不見滅、其權至於終極、
