Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you.Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This“ letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.

Most of you opposed him, and that was punishment enough.

“ I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.“ I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

in the name of the Lord Jesus. You must call a meeting of the church. I will be present with you in spirit, and so will the power of our Lord Jesus.Then you must throw this man out and hand him over to Satan so that his sinful nature will be destroyed and he himself will be saved on the day the Lord returns.

I may seem to be boasting too much about the authority given to us by the Lord. But our authority builds you up; it doesn’t tear you down. So I will not be ashamed of using my authority.I’m not trying to frighten you by my letters.For some say,“ Paul’s letters are demanding and forceful, but in person he is weak, and his speeches are worthless!”

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.
