其實就算我願意誇耀，也不算是愚妄的人，因為我會講真理。可是我要克制，免得有人把我看高了，過於他在我身上所看到的，或是從我所聽到的。

我就是愿意夸口也不算狂，因为我必说实话；只是我禁止不说，恐怕有人把我看高了，过于他在我身上所看见所听见的。

就是我愿意夸口也不算狂，因为我会说实话；只是我绝口不谈，恐怕有人把我看得太高了，过于他在我身上所看见所听见的；

即誇亦不為愚、以我所言者真也、但我自戒、恐人過其所見所聞於我者而擬我、

即誇亦不為狂、我言乃真、但余不言、恐人謂我過於所見所聞、

若欲自誇、亦不為狂、蓋我言乃真、但我自禁不言、恐有人以為我逾於所見於我、所聞於我者、

吾即欲誇、亦不致為狂妄、以所言皆實耳。然吾不欲多言、恐人之視我太高、超乎所見所聞於吾者。

Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say,

Suppose I decide to brag. That would not make me a fool, because I would be telling the truth. But I don’t brag, so that no one will think more of me than they should. People should judge me by what I do and say.

though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth; But I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me.

If I wanted to boast, I would be no fool in doing so, because I would be telling the truth. But I won’t do it, because I don’t want anyone to give me credit beyond what they can see in my life or hear in my message,

For if I want to boast, I wouldn’t be a fool, because I would be telling the truth. But I will spare you, so that no one can credit me with something beyond what he sees in me or hears from me,

我再說：誰都不要以為我是愚妄的人！否則，至少該接受我這個像是愚妄的人，好讓我也可以稍微自誇。

我成了愚妄的人，是你們逼我的。其實我應該受到你們的推薦，因為即使我一無所是，我也沒有一點趕不上那些「超級使徒」。

並且為了不讓我因這些極大的啟示而高抬自己，有一根刺加在我的肉體上，就是撒旦的使者來擊打我，免得我高抬自己。

主耶穌的神與父——永遠當受頌讚的那一位，知道我不是在說謊。

實際上，我們是神的同工；你們是神的田地，是神的建築物。我照著神賜給我的恩典，像一個有智慧的建築師，立好了根基，然後別人在上面建造；只是每個人應該當心怎樣在上面建造，

我在基督裡說真話，不是在說謊；我的良心藉著聖靈與我一同作證：

因為我們如果癲狂，是為了神；如果清醒，是為了你們。

主所賜給我們的權柄是為了造就你們，不是為了拆毀你們。其實，就算我為這權柄有些過度的誇耀，我也不至於蒙羞。我不願看起來像是在用書信恐嚇你們。因為有人說：「保羅的書信又嚴厲又強硬，但他親身在的時候卻是軟弱的人，他的言語也被藐視。」

其實阿波羅算什麼？保羅算什麼？都是僕人；藉著他們，你們信了，是照著主所賜給每個人的。

神是信實的，我們向你們傳的話語，並沒有「是」而又「非」。
