We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.

I am not going too far in my bragging. I would be going too far if I hadn’t come to where you live. But I did get there with the good news about Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ.

其實就算你們在基督裡有上萬的導師，卻沒有很多的父親，因為是我在基督耶穌裡藉著福音生了你們。

但是神卻藉著聖靈向我們啟示了，因為聖靈洞察一切，甚至洞察神深奧的事。

正如我的福音，這些事要在那日，神藉著基督耶穌審判各人隱祕事的時候，顯明出來。

我不是自由的嗎？我不是使徒嗎？我不是看到我們的主耶穌嗎？你們不是我在主裡的工作嗎？即使我對別人不是使徒，但至少對你們還是使徒，因為你們是我在主裡做使徒的印證。

這教義是照著當受稱頌之神的榮耀福音，就是所委託給我的福音。

我為了基督的福音來到特羅阿斯的時候，雖然主為我開了門，

願榮耀歸於神——他能藉著我的福音和有關耶穌基督的傳道，藉著奧祕的啟示堅固你們。這奧祕亙古以來是隱藏的，

對於他們，這世代的神把這些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他們不能洞察基督榮耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

的確，我不以福音為恥，因為這福音是神的大能，把救恩帶給一切相信的人，先是猶太人、後是外邦人。

神的兒子耶穌基督福音的開始。

但是我不把自己的生命看為寶貴，為要跑盡我該跑的路程，完成從主耶穌所領受的服事工作，為神恩典的福音鄭重地做見證。

我感到驚奇，你們這麼輕易地離棄了藉著基督的恩典召喚你們的那一位，轉向了別的福音。其實那並不是另一個福音，而是有些人在攪擾你們，想要篡改基督的福音。然而，就算是我們，或是天上來的使者，如果向你們傳講的福音，與我們先前所傳給你們的不同，他就該受詛咒。

我照著神賜給我的恩典，像一個有智慧的建築師，立好了根基，然後別人在上面建造；只是每個人應該當心怎樣在上面建造，

這信心和愛是藉著那為你們存留在天上的盼望，這盼望是你們在傳到你們那裡的福音真理之話語中所聽過的，

我們又開始推薦自己嗎？難道我們像有些人那樣，需要給你們推薦信，或向你們要推薦信嗎？你們就是我們的推薦信，寫在我們的心裡，被人人所知道、所誦讀；因為很明顯，你們是基督的書信，由我們所經手；不是用墨寫的，而是用永生神的靈寫的；不是刻在石版上，而是刻在人的心版上。

我什麼都不敢說，只說基督藉著我所完成的事，就是為了外邦人的順從，他藉著我所說的和所做的事，藉著神蹟、奇事的能力和聖靈的能力所完成的事。結果我從耶路撒冷及其周圍一帶直到伊利里亞，把基督的福音都傳遍了。

其實阿波羅算什麼？保羅算什麼？都是僕人；藉著他們，你們信了，是照著主所賜給每個人的。我栽種了，阿波羅澆灌了，然而使之生長的還是神。
