We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the sphere of service God himself has assigned to us, a sphere that also includes you.

But I won’t brag more than I should. God himself has given me an opportunity for serving. I will only brag about what I have done with that opportunity. This opportunity for serving also includes you.

然而，我們每一個人都按照基督恩賜的尺度被賜予了恩典。

我藉著所賜給我的恩典，對你們中間的每個人說：不要自視過高，過於所當看的，而要照著神所分給每個人信心的尺度，清醒地看自己。

的確，我們沒有過於擴張自己，好像達不到你們那裡，實際上我們帶著基督的福音已經來了，甚至遠到你們那裡。我們並沒有在界限以外，以別人的勞苦誇耀。我們只是希望，隨著你們信仰的增長，我們的範圍就會因著你們而更加擴大，

那麼我要說，他們難道沒有聽過嗎？當然聽過——「那聲音傳遍了天下，那話語傳到了地極。」

為沒送的禮物誇耀，就如有雲有風卻無雨。
