For every one of God’s promises are“ Yes” in him; therefore also through him the“ Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

故無論天主之恩諾為如何多且盛也、惟在耶穌身上、則皆實事求是、無絲毫之虛妄；而吾人之所以能心悅誠服、歸榮於天主、而應『心焉祝之』者、亦憑耶穌而已矣。

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are“ Yes” in Christ. And so through him the“ Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

God has made a great many promises. They are all“ Yes” because of what Christ has done. So through Christ we say“ Amen.” We want God to receive glory.

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding“ Yes!” And through Christ, our“ Amen”( which means“ Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.

For every one of God’s promises is“ Yes” in him. Therefore, through him we also say“ Amen” to the glory of God.

For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

As for you, what you have heard from the beginning must remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.Now this is the promise that he himself made to us: eternal life.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!

to the praise of the glory of his grace that he has freely bestowed on us in his dearly loved Son.

so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of his glory.And when you heard the word of truth( the gospel of your salvation)– when you believed in Christ– you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit,who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

saying,“ Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

“ To the angel of the church in Laodicea write the following:“ This is the solemn pronouncement of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of God’s creation:

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.

For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given– because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ– to those who believe.

when the LORD rebuilds Zion, and reveals his splendor,

when he comes to be glorified among his saints and admired on that day among all who have believed– and you did in fact believe our testimony.

These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.

You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham,‘ And in your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.’God raised up his servant and sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities.”

And these all were commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised.For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us.

Jesus answered,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say,“ and to the descendants,” referring to many, but“ and to your descendant,” referring to one, who is Christ.What I am saying is this: The law that came four hundred thirty years later does not cancel a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to invalidate the promise.For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave it to Abraham through the promise.

“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he has come to help and has redeemed his people.For he has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,as he spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from long ago,that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us.He has done this to show mercy to our ancestors, and to remember his holy covenant–the oath that he swore to our ancestor Abraham. This oath grantsthat we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, may serve him without fear,

“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”

But Melchizedek who does not share their ancestry collected a tithe from Abraham and blessed the one who possessed the promise.

And we proclaim to you the good news about the promise to our ancestors,that this promise God has fulfilled to us, their children, by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second psalm,‘ You are my Son; today I have fathered you.’But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus from the dead, never again to be in a state of decay, God has spoken in this way:‘ I will give you the holy and trustworthy promises made to David.’Therefore he also says in another psalm,‘ You will not permit your Holy One to experience decay.’For David, after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, died, was buried with his ancestors, and experienced decay,but the one whom God raised up did not experience decay.Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this one forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,and by this one everyone who believes is justified from everything from which the law of Moses could not justify you.

Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory.For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth to confirm the promises made to the fathers,and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.”

so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises.Now when God made his promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself,saying,“ Surely I will bless you greatly and multiply your descendants abundantly.”And so by persevering, Abraham inherited the promise.For people swear by something greater than themselves, and the oath serves as a confirmation to end all dispute.In the same way God wanted to demonstrate more clearly to the heirs of the promise that his purpose was unchangeable, and so he intervened with an oath,so that we who have found refuge in him may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain,

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”

For this reason the sovereign master himself will give you a confirming sign. Look, this young woman is about to conceive and will give birth to a son. You, young woman, will name him Immanuel.

They were shown that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things now announced to you through those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven– things angels long to catch a glimpse of.

Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift say“ Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.His dominion will be vast and he will bring immeasurable prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom, establishing it and strengthening it by promoting justice and fairness, from this time forward and forevermore. The LORD’s intense devotion to his people will accomplish this.

May his fame endure! May his dynasty last as long as the sun remains in the sky! May they use his name when they formulate their blessings! May all nations consider him to be favored by God!

Whoever pronounces a blessing in the earth will do so in the name of the faithful God; whoever makes an oath in the earth will do so in the name of the faithful God. For past problems will be forgotten; I will no longer think about them.

Jesus replied,“ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christand to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan– a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things.The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs; the nations will obey him.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.

Because you have obeyed me, all the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.’”

For God, who said“ Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

They served only for matters of food and drink and various washings; they are external regulations imposed until the new order came.But now Christ has come as the high priest of the good things to come. He passed through the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation,and he entered once for all into the Most Holy Place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow sprinkled on those who are defiled consecrated them and provided ritual purity,how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.And so he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the eternal inheritance he has promised, since he died to set them free from the violations committed under the first covenant.

God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
