因為我知道，藉著你們的禱告和耶穌基督之靈的幫助，我終會得到釋放。

其實一切都是為了你們，好叫恩典臨到更多的人，有更多人向上帝感恩，使上帝得榮耀。

彼得被囚期間，教會都迫切地為他向上帝禱告。

同時，也請你為我預備住處，因為我盼望藉著你們的禱告，我可以蒙恩到你們那裡。

請為我們禱告，因為我們自信良心無愧，凡事都願意遵行正道。

要為我們禱告，求上帝為我們打開傳道的門，好傳揚基督的奧祕——我就是為此而被囚禁的。

弟兄姊妹，最後我還要請你們為我們禱告，好使主的道像在你們那裡一樣迅速傳開，受到尊崇，

弟兄姊妹，我藉著我們主耶穌基督和聖靈所賜的愛心，懇求你們與我一同竭力禱告，為我祈求上帝，使我脫離猶太地區不信之人的迫害，叫耶路撒冷的聖徒樂意接受我帶去的捐款，並使我按照上帝的旨意歡然去與你們相聚，一同重新得力。

弟兄姊妹，請為我們禱告。

所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代禱，好得到醫治。義人的禱告有極大的力量和功效。以利亞先知和我們一樣同是血肉之軀，他懇切地祈求不要下雨，結果三年半沒有下雨。後來他再禱告求雨，天就降雨，地也長出了莊稼。

要靠著聖靈隨時多方禱告和祈求，警醒不怠地為眾聖徒禱告。也請你們為我禱告，求上帝賜我口才，讓我勇敢地把福音的奧祕講解明白。

叫你們事事豐裕，可以多多施捨。這樣，從我們這裡得到你們幫助的人便會向上帝獻上感恩。因為這件善事不單可以幫助經濟困難的聖徒，也使許多人對上帝充滿感恩。

亞述王派他的元帥來辱罵永活的上帝，也許你的上帝耶和華聽見那些話，就懲罰他。請你為我們這些剩下的人禱告。』」

他們也會因上帝賜給你們的豐盛恩典而熱切地為你們禱告。

耶路撒冷啊，我已在你城牆上設立守望者。他們晝夜不停地禱告。呼求耶和華的人啊，你們不可歇息，要常常敦促祂，直到祂建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷成為普世歌頌的城。
