因为我知道，借着你们的祷告和耶稣基督之灵的帮助，我终会得到释放。

彼得被囚期间，教会都迫切地为他向上帝祷告。

同时，也请你为我预备住处，因为我盼望借着你们的祷告，我可以蒙恩到你们那里。

请为我们祷告，因为我们自信良心无愧，凡事都愿意遵行正道。

要为我们祷告，求上帝为我们打开传道的门，好传扬基督的奥秘——我就是为此而被囚禁的。

弟兄姊妹，最后我还要请你们为我们祷告，好使主的道像在你们那里一样迅速传开，受到尊崇，

弟兄姊妹，我借着我们主耶稣基督和圣灵所赐的爱心，恳求你们与我一同竭力祷告，为我祈求上帝，使我脱离犹太地区不信之人的迫害，叫耶路撒冷的圣徒乐意接受我带去的捐款，并使我按照上帝的旨意欢然去与你们相聚，一同重新得力。

弟兄姊妹，请为我们祷告。

所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代祷，好得到医治。义人的祷告有极大的力量和功效。以利亚先知和我们一样同是血肉之躯，他恳切地祈求不要下雨，结果三年半没有下雨。后来他再祷告求雨，天就降雨，地也长出了庄稼。

要靠着圣灵随时多方祷告和祈求，警醒不怠地为众圣徒祷告。也请你们为我祷告，求上帝赐我口才，让我勇敢地把福音的奥秘讲解明白。

叫你们事事丰裕，可以多多施舍。这样，从我们这里得到你们帮助的人便会向上帝献上感恩。因为这件善事不单可以帮助经济困难的圣徒，也使许多人对上帝充满感恩。

亚述王派他的元帅来辱骂永活的上帝，也许你的上帝耶和华听见那些话，就惩罚他。请你为我们这些剩下的人祷告。’”

他们也会因上帝赐给你们的丰盛恩典而热切地为你们祷告。

耶路撒冷啊，我已在你城墙上设立守望者。他们昼夜不停地祷告。呼求耶和华的人啊，你们不可歇息，要常常敦促祂，直到祂建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷成为普世歌颂的城。
