在耶路撒冷有修殿節，是冬天的時候。

我要為耶和華－我神的名建造殿宇，分別為聖獻給他，在他面前焚燒美香，常擺陳設餅，每早晚、安息日、月朔，並耶和華－我們神所定的節期獻燔祭。這是以色列人永遠的定例。

會眾所奉的燔祭如下：公牛七十隻，公羊一百隻，羊羔二百隻，這都是作燔祭獻給耶和華的；又有分別為聖之物，公牛六百隻，綿羊三千隻。

王的本分是在節期、月朔、安息日，就是以色列家一切的節期，奉上燔祭、素祭、奠祭。他要預備贖罪祭、素祭、燔祭，和平安祭，為以色列家贖罪。」

所羅門王和聚集到他那裏的以色列全會眾都在約櫃前獻牛羊為祭，多得不可勝數。

次日，他們向耶和華獻平安祭和燔祭，就是獻公牛一千隻，公綿羊一千隻，羊羔一千隻，並同獻的奠祭；又為以色列眾人獻許多的祭。那日，他們在耶和華面前吃喝，大大歡樂。

以色列的祭司和利未人，並其餘被擄歸回的人都歡歡喜喜地行奉獻神殿的禮。行奉獻神殿的禮就獻公牛一百隻，公綿羊二百隻，綿羊羔四百隻，又照以色列支派的數目獻公山羊十二隻，為以色列眾人作贖罪祭；

王和以色列眾民一同在耶和華面前獻祭。所羅門向耶和華獻平安祭，用牛二萬二千，羊十二萬。這樣，王和以色列眾民為耶和華的殿行奉獻之禮。

所羅門上到耶和華面前會幕的銅壇那裏，獻一千犧牲為燔祭。

耶和華豈喜悅千千的公羊，或是萬萬的油河嗎？我豈可為自己的罪過獻我的長子嗎？為心中的罪惡獻我身所生的嗎？

用膏抹壇的日子，首領都來行奉獻壇的禮，眾首領就在壇前獻供物。

當日他們從所取的擄物中，將牛七百隻、羊七千隻獻給耶和華。

約西亞從羣畜中賜給在那裏所有的人民，綿羊羔和山羊羔三萬隻，牛三千隻，作逾越節的祭物；這都是出自王的產業中。約西亞的眾首領也樂意將犧牲給百姓和祭司利未人；又有管理神殿的希勒家、撒迦利亞、耶歇將羊羔二千六百隻，牛三百隻，給祭司作逾越節的祭物。利未人的族長歌楠雅和他兩個兄弟示瑪雅、拿坦業，與哈沙比雅、耶利、約撒拔將羊羔五千隻，牛五百隻，給利未人作逾越節的祭物。

猶大王希西家賜給會眾公牛一千隻，羊七千隻為祭物；眾首領也賜給會眾公牛一千隻，羊一萬隻，並有許多的祭司潔淨自己。
